I screwed this into a recessed can light in my desk area in the kitchen. It needs a extension for this use but not a problem. It screwed in and I have 3 spots to aim at featured areas. I found some great bulbs.... with only a 34 degree spot/circle to point at the 3 places/pictures on the wall. Not perfect but works.... First, I highly recommend using Daylight LED bulbs in these units because they draw less current and are much lighter than the old fashioned glass bulbs. I finally have enough light to see my way around the garage by going from 2 bulbs to 6 bulbs! (Update : The company that makes this product is telling me now to use bulbs that are not too heavy, so if you decide to buy this product make sure to weight your lightbulbs and ask them what is the maximum weight allowed) ... show more
