This is a really good product. I purchased it (not a free item or compensated review). I bought it for my boyfriend two (3?) Christmas’s ago and he really loves it. He is very tough on his stuff, wears it for leisure and heavy duty trades work and wears it constantly. He has had it over two years and it has broken in nicely rather than peeling or splitting. The color has stayed rich too, meaning the leather is dyed rather than painted or coated. This is more like a good saddle cinch type piece of leather than a cheap belt. I will be purchasing 2 more this season, a black one for him plus one for me. Many of the belts I have looked at have glued leather, or cheap vinyl over cardboard or cloth for this price range. This appears to have been directly cut from a solid hide and be a straightforward piece of durable leather. The steel metal buckle on it also feels like a wise solid and well-made. It is wide and very manly looking. The only suggestion I have is buy it in a generous size if you sit in a car a long time, allow for some give. Weird that Amazon wants me to rate this belts ability to stretch. I gave it one star for that because it's a solid leather belt, so no, it doesn't stretch which is perfect.

It smells leather, not cardboard, when you order 38 you dont get a 44 fits all repeatedly that brake and last only 6 months. It has elasticity and does not hurt as it does not need to be thick. It does the job. Hopefully it will last.
