My favorite brush. I don’t see how it could be better! The grip is good and boasts a nice firm wood touch. The bristles and firm and are highly durable. I used a single brush for over a year and it still retains its strength. The brush has a soft bristle and hard bristle side making it a dual-threat. While this is not one of the higher priced military brushes, I've got nothing but praise for this one. The size is very comfortable, the wood beautiful, and the way it brushes is amazing. Going off of experience, it can make the thickest, coursest,and even driest hair shine, and, trust me, your hair will look and feel healthier after a few strokes. Some reviews I read mentioned it shedding hair, and though this one has lost a few hairs, it's pretty minimal, and hardly worth noticing. Either way, I figure you still will come further ahead buying this one than not. The price is good, and it works great for Father's Day, stocking gift, or whatever.     • Great brush for waves!
Size: 9 Inch (Pack of 1) Style: Wave Brush
I had done a lot of research on this brush before buying it. Diane brushes are extremely popular within the 360 wave community. I've had 360 waves before and it took about two months but when I started using this brush my waves came in A LOT faster. Not to mention that this brush made my hair softer, shinier, and it just feels amazing on your head (boar bristles are great for your hair). The brush will lose some bristles for the first couple of days but that's normal and it stops. It's not too hard and not too soft, it's a medium brush. This is my favorite brush btw! Not that it matters but this brush also looks amazing, the wood is dark gray with a nice finish, and the bristles are black and gold and brown. You can use this brush pretty deep into your wolfing sessions but if you have coarse hair like mine when you get into the late stages (5 weeks and up) this brush will work but it wont penetrate your hair enough to make your waves deeper. For the price of this brush you get OUTSTANDING quality, the phrase you get what you pay for doesn't apply to this brush at all it could be a lot more expensive than this. The only reason I give my Diane #8119 4 out of 5 stars is how firmly the bristles are(nt) placed. I use this brush a little more than my other ones but that still doesn't make up for the fact that the bristles on the left side have begun to sway inward. This happens to brushes but it happened way too early with this one, its begun to feel more like a softee rather than a medium brush but remember I have coarse hair and I brush 1-1 1/2 hours a day. Purchased for my significant other some time ago, who has short waves. It works well for him and has been durable over several months. The softer bristles are a little too soft, so they don't really get used, but it's nice to have the options. The handle is a little short, also, but not short enough to where it's really obstructive or difficult to grip - just a little awkward for larger hands. The side with thicker/hard bristles has a good thickness to it. It starts off a little tough, but softens over time.
