    • No curing necessary/excellent price and good quality almost as good as LODGE cast iron
These frying pans were1/2 the price of most cast iron frying pans/.they were a little bit thinner and lighter but still good. and most importand they were cured correctly/ i fried eggs with a little bit of butter on high heat and they did not stick.

This Diamond Home Cast Iron Skillet 3-Piece Set is of decent quality with respect to the asking price and boy! these are heavy. These come with factory 'pre-seasoned' layer making it easy to use. Although by experience I can tell that despite these come pre-seasoned from factory, it is a good practice to season it by pouring a little bit of vegetable oil and let it burn before cleaning up and keeping it ready for the next use. If you forget to seasoning it after each wash and use it might develop rusting which is an inherent design of all cast iron skillets. I think overall these are actually worth its money as long as you know how to take care of them. I personally like them and rating them with four stars! ... show more

Wow. This is my 1st set of cast iron skillets and they feel really heavy. I haven’t used them yet, but I plan to practice on the smallest one first. I think it should do well baking cornbred in the oven. The pre-seasoned coating covers the entire pans. It's not extremely smooth: it looks & feels a little bumpy. But I don’t know if it will impact cooking. I especially like the three sizes, I think it should work great for making smaller meals for 2. The only reason I’m rating 4 stars instead of 5 is because I can’t really say how well they work, until after cooking something ... show more

    • Average quality cast-iron pan set
On the plus side, these pans come well-seasoned which saves some trouble. Like other cast iron pans, they're heavy and distribute heat well. The largest (10") pan is smaller than standard 12" pans, but the combination of the three pans works well for a variety of cooking needs.

I've never owned a cast iron skillet before, but needed these to make meatballs. I was surprised that the pans were smaller than expected - the smallest one was 6" and basically a useless size. To make meatballs, I had to use 2 pans because they're small. They feel very heavy and ok quality, two of them had marred marks right out of the box. These got stained very easily and you can't really scrub or soak these per the directions. I am not a big fan of these, I'm sure there are ones of better quality. ... show more

Very durable set and made very well and strong. They cook my food good and are easy to clean. I did season them before use by following instruction on seasoning cast iron pans and wipe them clean with paper towels and water after each use. This set work great for my cooking needs.
