This is a great buy if your looking for an inexpensive shed. Did it have some scratches and dents sure but you get what you pay for and this was perfect! Using it as an outdoor garden shed with basic holiday totes and garden stuff. The shed isn't strong enough to put a real lock so don't put grandma's jewels in there, however it's perfect as a basic backyard shed. I put it together alone although not impossible def would be easier and faster with a buddy. I wouldn't have done the roof the way they suggested but rather start on one end and do the ridge as you go. Therefore your not trying to screw the ridge while hanging off the side of the roof. The doors were little confusing so def pay attention to those! Very glad they gave extra screws bc I def lost a bunch along the way! Do yourself a favor and before you start, take all the plastic off. I did this the night before and legit took about 2-3 hours! Huge time saver before you actually start. Finally, if your not someone who puts stuff together this DIT is not for the faint of hearts. Lots of patience and reading is needed! Overall once I was done, I was impressed at how strong it felt! Great quality for the value!! I have some pics and left the doors off bc it rained so I was letting air out, I also built it up due to the water where I live. Once everything dries, I plan to lay another layer of OSB over the frame on the floor for more support. ... show more

    • Missing pieces and no cause of satisfaction

Living in Florida, I waited until the weather was cooler and clearer to put this together. Problem? I am missing 1 H1 and 1 H2 pieces from the kit and have no way of contacting the seller to get the pieces. I had to cut a 2x4 to fit to complete the build. After reading the instructions, the wife and I are currently on day 3 of the build and I can tell you this thing is NOT easy to put together and often the so called "holes" are not aligned as described. The instructions are less than clear and sometimes missleading I would not recommend this item to anyone, save your money and look elsewhere. ... show more

This little shed is very time consuming to put together, a lot of the pieces do not fit well at first takes two people at once. It was together at works well does not leak.

The media could not be loaded. You're getting what should be expected for the price. I would say that it's neither waterproof or securely lockable. But it's the cheapest 8'x10' shed you can find, and for that I'd say it's pretty good. POSITIVES • large shed with adequate storage • lightweight frame • ventilation slats precut • cheapest cost for this large size shed • free shipping • measurement specifications described are true to size NEGATIVES • the metal is very thin, easily dented and somewhat flimsy • flooring is not included - you get only the metal framing - so you will need to get some plywood or something to lay over the framing - you would need to get a ground mat to put under the framing and plywood/covering on top of framing to consider the base anywhere near waterproof • the lock provided is flimsy as well as the closure latch you attach to the door and lock • doors are easily pulled open with little effort, even while it is locked • some pieces will inevitably arrive with dents being the metal is so thin - the plastic wrap attached to it defends against smaller scratches and can be a bit time consuming to remover off all pieces if you wish to do so • there were no missing parts listed as included • instructions aren't too detailed, but still generally easy to follow • assembly will be time consuming The shed is the exact size as described, but it is not waterproof or securely lockable as advertised. If you're looking for something to add some additional wated resistant storage for as cheap as you can and aren't too concerned about it being locked, it's a solid purchase. It can be almost entirely assembled by one person over the course of about 10-12 hours. But assistance will be needed to put the final nuts and bolts through each panel (one screwing in the bolt from outside while one holds the nut on the inside). ... show more

I did the entire thing by myself other than 1 part by and it took approx 7 hours. Instructions were a little hard to follow. I recommend looking at the mistakes section where it tells you common mistakes. Each piece came with plastic wrap in it and after taking some off I could tell it would take me longer than building the shed so I left it on. I built the roof a little different order than the instructions so I could reach all the parts. At the end the doors did not line up, but the place I was building was not exactly level. I rigged the doors with 2 locks and it should work just fine. Metal was thicker than I thought it would be and they gave me more than enough screws. I got the white w/ brown or orangish top. I like the colors, but don't know how long they will last. Last thing that might be interesting to know is it comes with a metal frame for the base even in the middle. If you want a flat floor you either have to purchase a floor or attach some plywood to it. That being said you lose height probably 2 inches or more with the metal frame and flooring you attach. ... show more

    • Worst purchase on Amazon ever
This is by far the worst purchase I have ever bought on Amazon. I was sent 2 bent sheds. When I finally started putting it together it is missing pieces. Parts were bent, screws were missing. Parts were mislabeled so the entire time I had to put something together only to find out the part was mislabeled. They put all the screws of the majority of the screws in one package without labels leaving you to guess what screw was needed. The doors do not line up despite the shed being on a level surface. I had to go to Home Depot to buy multiple parts to make the simplest things work. The instructions are a joke and are poorly written and printed. The screws for the door hinges do not fasten. Despite trying to make this shed work it was by far the worst purchase on Amazon I have ever made. Do not purchase. ... show more
