  • It has held up better than expected
The shed looks nice, but it's not sturdy I'm pretty sure if I laid across it the roof would collapse. It probably can't support 200lbs. I think it would take about 2 minutes for me to kick it down if I tried. I'm not sure how it's supposed to handle Michigan snow. the primary roof support is aluminum or tin, thin and flimsy, but get this IT'S 2 PIECES SCREWED TOGETHER! there are only two other supports. and the entire shed seems to be supported by the thin sheet metal sides rather than the frame supporting them. I am not looking forward to when we get our first high wind storm. Maybe next year I'll be able to afford a better one, because I don't think this will last. even if it does there are other problems. UPDATE I don't want to delete any of the above comments because most remain true but it did last the winter. We had mild snow but some heavy wind storms and ice/hail storms. I found that the holes VERY often didn't line up. They are just a TOUCH off. Some of the metal bends when you try to drill through it, but I'm trying to build this alone so there isn't much choice but to keep trying. I've broken 3 drill bits. (I estimate I have had to drill 25 holes) The instructions are misleading. so bad that I found another instruction manual for it online (maybe older) but I don't think they were congruent. So now I have to figure out if I still have things left to do. Several of the pieces weren't labeled making it hard to find them. The roof sticks out farther than I think the gables are supposed to go and I'm not sure how the tiny screws are supposed to fit through three pieces of metal. (I'm going to buy some longer ones) Honestly assembly of this thing has been a nightmare. The shed is mostly up but there are so many gaps caused by the mismeasurement of the drilling and everything being off that I've already gone through an entire tube of Caulk. ... show more

  • Impressed so far
Package arrived torn, but contents were undamaged. Took two of us about 7 hours to set up. Make sure you read the instructions carefully... they’re easy to follow once you get a hang of the writing style, but some of pictures are impossible to decipher. They’re clearly written by someone who had set up multiple of these sheds, and sometimes leave out small details that would help a first-timer avoid a dumb mistake. We had to undo a few screws and bolts because we secured something the wrong way. Wasn’t an issue, but we could’ve saved some time and groans had we read the instructions more carefully. I was impressed that the screw and bolt holes lined up 99% of the time. I had read from other reviews that lots of the holes were off, but if you have a square and solid base, you shouldn’t run into issue with aligning the pre-cut drill holes. If building on a wood base, I recommend lining the edge with plastic flashing to keep moisture out. Even with a bead of silicone all the way around, water still leaks inside via the door track. There are a few videos on YouTube as to how to prevent or fix for that, but the wood base recommended by the instructions sticks out a bit past the shed, and catches water on the lip which, depending on climate, may end up leaking through your floor. The roof itself is bomber for rain! No leaks from the actual shed yet! ... show more

  • Extremely thin panels
The shed looks nice but the sheets of metal are extremely thin. I wouldn't lean anything against them or it will dent. Need 2 people to put together. Frame seems strong once fastened to the floor. Would not buy again I paid 709 and see they actually raised the price... 200 plus dollars.

  • Great little shed
I’m really happy with this shed I bought. Great shed for the money spent. Will keep your stuff dry and it can be locked. It is quite fragile, only 170lbs so take into account where you live in case of wind or areas of high crime. I anchored mine down with rope (see picture) because I live in an area with high wind in the spring. Or don’t body slam it or something. Attaching shelves would not be advised. It does not have a foundation, so I was able to buy a grid locking plastic foundation which I anchored the shed to and the poured gravel on top. Overall I spent about $1000 for this shed and I expect it should last me about 10 years or more. ... show more

  • Very Improvable
Bad instruction manual, misleading many times, occasionally impossible to identify parts or position from the images in it. Poor packaging, many parts came bended, damaged or with scratches . Some parts are identified with big numbers with ink in the visible sides. Cant wash them out. A couple of holes not well positioned, had to drill new ones (and yes, I assembled it correctly) Parts are easily dented, scratched or bended, must be careful when assembling it. A little more thickness or better material needed In my opinion; Not strong enough. Not well protected against rain. And doors leave plenty of space for dust and humidity to come in. Let's see how it does with time, Not sure if it's durable.. ... show more

  • Harder to make and smaller than you think!
First off I will say customer service is great BUT I'd rather not have to call. My shed came missing MULTIPLE parts, box was fully intact so it shipped out missing them. Two of the roof cross supports and the 3 of the plastic end caps for the roof. They did replace the parts with no charge and no question BUT it still delayed install for a week. Multiple pieces were scratched inside the box due to metal to metal contact (see photos) The shed is also smaller then expected on the inside at 116" width X 60" depth X 79" (at roof peak). I did expect to loose a couple inches from what is posted but a full 1 ft on the depth is unexpected. They should provide interior dimensions as well as this size is so awkward it makes most large items un-storable. Height is the main issue for me. For reference the tallest part of the ceiling is 79", smallest 72" your standard storage rack is 72" tall meaning you lose all the top shelf to the roof. The hardware for the doors is all plastic junk including the top rollers. Overall I'm disappointed in everything but the look of the wood panels. ... show more
