  • Well designed and solid
They need to work on their delivery method. Eight foot parts on a four foot pallet is a recipe for disaster. It was a third party delivery service that had to deal with a busted pallet and a stack of boxes that shifted and fell over the edge but still in the straps. The pallet was in such bad shape that the delivery service couldn't get it off the truck. They took it back to their shop and repacked on a new pallet and the delivery was made. (May be should have done it at the shop when they got the broken pallet??) But, the product is solid. It is very important to get the ground as level as possible and square the frame per the directions. Clearance holes are predrilled so any angular deviations in the squareness will throw the roof panels off real quick. Another minor complaint would be the adhesive foam tape was partially crushed which made it difficult to install properly. I'm sure this is from the broke pallet and shifting boxes. Other than that little stuff I would recommend this product. We used the 20'x20' for winter boat storage at my son's house and my wife and I are planning on getting a smaller version for our house for a car(s) port. ... show more

  • misaligned parts but good C/S
The five boxes arrived with no damage and we began assembling the arches. The two end arches using part F as the center brace went together fine. The other three arches, using part G were not welded straight. As you can see in the first two photos, when you add part Q, the end is a full 2" off. By the time you add parts R and P to that end, the bottom rail will not fit into the four bolt holes of part L. I contacted their Customer Service who sent out four new part Gs to replace the unusable ones. Those were also bad from the factory. I contacted them again and requested part F instead, as the only difference is the ARROW logo. They sent me three Fs and as you can see in the other photos, one of them was also badly made. I was able to find three parts out of all of them that were, 'Good Enough' to finish building my five arches. The bottom rails went together without a problem, but when it came to putting the arches into place, we discovered that some of the stub shafts on the rails were also slightly twisted. We had to put one leg onto a rail, then walk the other leg over until it slid into place. This worked for three arches but the other two required me to use a huge pipe wrench on the lower leg to twist them enough to slide onto the stub shafts. Naturally, all of these slightly warped parts meant that the arches weren't straight enough for the panels. I had to use 8' 2x4s to push and adjust the frame until the holes in the panels were close to the center of the arch frames. I must point out that their Customer Service was great about sending me replacement parts. The main problem is the quality control isn't up to par and they need to check the alignment of their jigs for these parts, otherwise, they will still send out bad parts. For a couple in their mid-sixties putting together a DIY kit, all these setbacks and misaligned parts are hard to deal with. Until this company does a Quality Control on their jigs before welding, I can't recommend their products. ... show more

  • Just as the picture
very nice and durable one. I assembled and constructed it myself for the most. Took help from my kids and a very good neighbor when the frames had to be placed and bolted to the legs. It has been about 2 months and so far I have no issues. I have to admit, I did make some errors when I installed the frames (their were not parallel exactly and therefore ended up messing some of the panel positions from the already drilled holes. There are about 3 spots where water is dripping ever so slowly. I have a lot of sealant left which I can use before the fall arrives. Overall I am very happy with the build quality and also the paint work. ... show more

  • Carport met all expectations for design and materials...
The carport is meeting all our needs. My son-in-law put it together mostly by himself, but had occasional help with anything heavy parts, like the roof. He is a welder/machinist and very knowledgeable about construction, etc. He is pleased with the overall design and materials of the basic unit; has beefed up many of the metal parts to withstand our high winds all year round in this area of Montana. The carport will serve him well for many years to come. ... show more
