What I DO like about this faux plant: the container. It’s actual pottery and is quite nice. I like to start with the positives. The plant is a little less full than the advertised image. Because it’s a faux succulent, there’s not a lot of give to the branches to be able to reform them into a desired fullness. The faux soil is styrofoam with a dark paint on the top layer. Since my plant was slightly crooked in the dirt, attempting to straighten it just results in the styrofoam being broken and splitting. If I didn’t touch it and was fine with a crooked plant that came out of the mail packaging, it is mediocre. If I use it around the house for decorating It will have to be turned in a manner to cloak the angle at which the plant was put into the styrofoam. I’m not blown away by this one. ... show more

Product is potentially cute but arrived broken in several places. Had it been one small crack, I might have tried to fix or camouflage the blemish but it was essentially destroyed in transit. Otherwise it seems decent enough.

My cat- who is ordinarily not a climber- will climb to any height to eat every single plant I've attempted to keep in my home. The longest stretch I've been able to keep a plant is 2 days until the poor leaves are bitten to pulp, the pot of dirt knocked on the floor or the entire plant devoured to the sprouts. This way, I get to have some 'green' in my home without my kitty destroying it or being poisoned. The plant is very realistic looking, exactly like the photos in the listing and true to size. Even the 'dirt' looks real. The pot, which is a nice white washed terracotta type pot comes with foam dots on the bottom to prevent it from scratching surfaces and banging when setting down. Not as heavy as a pot of dirt either, but a good weight that won't tip easily. ... show more
