I love the bed. It feels very sturdy and looks beautiful. Our full mattress fits perfectly- almost snug but not too much. Makes for much more space in our small guest room. The color is slightly more gray of a taupe than brown in person. I’m a very small woman and assembled it myself, it took about two hours. I left the back panel on the ground and assembled it on its side. Other reviewers are correct that you should not tighten everything all the way until the end - it makes it much easier and will prevent you from going back to loosen things up. There is a specific spot in the directions that tells you when to fully tighten each screw. A screwdriver made the process much faster/easier. I highly recommend.

My teenage daughter had always wanted a daybed and all of the options that I would find that seemed more her style were generally expensive PBteen beds. I tried to stay away from black but she was persistent, so I finally broke down and bought it. I am glad that I did. I am a mom who doesn’t put much furniture together and was able to do it entirely by myself in a couple hours. It definitely would go faster with help, I’d imagine. We also bought a 10” memory foam mattress for it. We give it 10 stars.

Great daybed. Would give 5 stars but the color isn't close to navy blue more a denim blue. Was really hoping it was darker to go with other decor, but oh well I'll make it work. The directions are easy to follow, took my son and I about a hour to assemble. I have to say I was worried it wouldn't be very sturdy but I'm pleasantly surprised. Would definitely purchase again.

But it was so easy! The directions are clear, the pieces are clearly marked, and the hardware is nicely packaged. I am so pleased with my new bed! It is beautiful and sturdy. My kids keep coming in and "petting" it because it's so soft. I'm proud of myself for putting it together. Only took about an hour to assemble solo! Highly recommend!

Like others said, do not tighten all the bolts until legs and everything are attached. It's beautiful, doable with a toddler around, just frustrating if you are following step by step and tightening as you go, End up having to untighten sections repeatedly.

I bought this for my 8 year old sons room and he LOVES it. The option of a day bed was great for additional floor space but still wanted a queen for as he grows or if his room has to be used for guest. I put it together by myself and the directions were easy to understand but I did have a few alignment issues with screw holes so make sure you have the pieces straight. I love the slat system and feel totally stable laying on it with him. 100% would recommend and am super happy with my purchase. I will say the box had seen better days and had a small piece of batting sticking out of the back board but nothing too bad or noticeable.

This might be worth a read before buying! The couch is OK, but you can make it better with a few more things to make it work! 3 Stars because I had to spend an extra $150 to make it usable. I’ll preface this with my goal was to have a daybed as my living-room couch. Originally I had a 14 inch metal bed frame, but I was looking to create something more cozy and lower to the ground (more the appropriate height for a couch.) This frame was originally the answer to my desire! So I have created a list of pros and cons, and provided directions on how I made it look like and feel a cozy couch that can actually support two adults! PROS: 1. It’s super easy to put together! I could do it by myself (30/F/not in great shape 😂) in about 2 hours, even with my dogs trampling everything. 2. It’s very cute, and by far the most “Couch like” daybed frame for the price. I wish the sides where lower than the back, but that’s my own preference and not what was advertised. 3. It appears to be pretty customizable. The parts are extremely basic. CONS: 1. It’s slat is listed as a max weight of 450 pounds, and you do still have to factor in the mattress to that number. The con is that 450 is apparently a hard limit. My husband and I both weigh about 210, and the whole thing is unnervingly wobbly when we’re both sitting on it. The legs also bend inwards after a while and the screws need tightened regularly. Update on that: After taking it apart for my modification, it had already lost several screws from light use (I had avoided sitting on it out of fear) over a week. Maybe it was user error and I didn’t tighten things well enough. But tbh the weight limit combined with wobbly-ness invoked enough fear in me that it leads me to believe that the frame wouldn’t have worked out in the long run had I not made some changes. :( 2. You’re getting what you paid for. At around $300 this is a great price for the couch-like daybed frames! But it will cost more to make it truly usable. So, do with that what you will. 3. It’s still a 14 inch bed frame! You’ll be sitting 20-30 inches high. I read “8 inch clearance,” and misunderstood that as meaning the cushions would start at 8 inches from the ground. (Since I wanted something lower than what I already had, that was pretty heartbreaking for it to still be 14 inches tall) So, here is what I did to give it a real couch feeling. I used a 10 inch mattress I already owned. You’ll need: 1. A mattress, mine is 10 inches. Consider the height of your mattress when buying the box spring to determine how tall you want it to be. 2. A 5-7 inch METAL box spring that can support the weight of adults! The front piece of the couch is 7 inches tall. If you buy a box spring that is taller than 7 inches you can either leave the front piece off, which doesn’t really look that bad tbh, or jerry rig it another way. But I bought the Amazon basics, 5 inch. 3. Some good adhesive for fabric/metal. OR if your more savvy with power tools/need it to be sturdier, metal L brackets and wood screws. Step 1: The legs are literally part of the structural integrity of the frame (which seems like extremely poor design in my opinion.) I removed ALL PARTS EXCEPT THE SIDES, no support for the slat, nothing but the 4 outer pieces. The back actually has some pretty sturdy brackets already so I just put some glue around it, I also glued the front sides together (or you could use L brackets and wood screws.) No matter how you do it, you just have to remove the legs. Otherwise the box spring won’t fit inside. Step 2: Since it’s legless, the couch frame will be on the floor, which means, YAY! It’s already looking more like a couch! You then build your 5 inch box spring and place it in the middle, put your mattress on top and your done! Here are some pictures of how mine turned out!
