I bought this for my son who wanted a more grown up looking bed. He LOVES it! It was challenging to put together, but that's mostly due to the size. It's sturdy, the drawers are huge, and it looks nice. If you want something that your kid can grow up in, this is definitely a great buy!

    • not easy to assemble if you have to move it to a new room
First assembly went great, then I had to take it apart to move it the support boards were a real honest devil of job. The velvet is nice but could easily be damaged on the thin arms and back. The drawers are amazing and lock in so they aren't moving around every time you get on or off the thing. The kids use it as a bed and as a group couch for TV viewing. ... show more

Took me about 3.5-4hrs to put together. Directions were easy to follow and they sent xtra screws which is aways nice. Frame seems sturdy. I wish the drawers were full length but decent storage. So far I recommend. Will update in about a month after a few sleeps.

Will this be the most solid piece of furniture in your house? No. Will this last you a generation? No. But it definitely does the job really really well. I bought this after lots and lots of research so hopefully my review will be helpful. Pros: - You get a very stylish daybed for a very good price. - Love the minimalist look - The blue linen color is absolutely beautiful - Has not shown any signs of wear considering how much my toddler jumps on it. - Instructions were clear and simple, it still took me a couple hours to put together but I was able to do a lot of it by myself with a little help from my husband. - You can really pull the room together beautifully with some throw pillows and a nice fitted sheet. - I have had wonderful naps on it! It also depends on what kind of mattress you pair it with. If you will be sleeping on it a lot I'd suggest getting a more comfortable mattress to really get its worth. Cons: - The drawers are so useless. They have really cheaped out on these. Firstly they aren't attached to the sofa they just roll around on their own which makes them go in every direction. - The material they use for the drawers are paper. You cannot put anything heavy in there. I bought this thinking I would be able to store my daughter's toys but I was wrong. It is very delicate I can only keep throws and small pillows. - Its always a pain to close the drawers shut because you need to lift the drawer and insert the nail straight into a small notch on the frame of the bed which is not possible in the first try considering how much these drawers roll around here and there. - Had significant off-gas which took a while to diffuse. - Not very high quality build. But you definitely get what you pay for. ... show more

It took a little over 2 1/2 hours for me to assemble this. My daughter helped me hold up pieces when I needed an extra set of hands. With two people assembling this from start to finish, it would go faster. One could probably assemble it on their own, but it’s a bit of a balancing act. The bed looks nice on the outside, but this won’t be great if you need drawers for heavy duty storage. It will probably work fine for her to store light things like her kindle, chargers and a spare blanket under the bed. The flimsy plastic interior won’t hold anything heavier than that. If you need sturdy drawers for storage, don’t buy this. If light weight is fine, this bed should work. The bed was also easy to assemble, for how many parts it has. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would consider getting this bed frame again for a guest room. It’s not expensive but bear in mind that you will get what you pay for. ... show more

The daybed is really sturdy. If you have kids, the texture of the the fabric may be a problem. Overall, I really like the daybed and would recommend it.

I can't speak to durability bc we just built the bed but in regards to assembly- clear packaging with pieces labeled and very straightforward assembly directions. The only hold up I had was assembling the slats and that took a minute to slow down and figure out (tip: assemble whole slat before clicking into place- will make sense when you're on that step). The material is on the thin side so if you have a younger child or a child that plays more "rough and tumble" I could see the risk for rips but for my young teen this is a great economical option, hopefully lasting 3-5 years daily use. As others have said, the drawers will not hold heavy items. Sweaters, light weight knick knacks will be fine. (They are a pretty decent size.) Overall, -- knowing the price point-- it seems like we're off to an easy to assemble, nice little bed. (Will adjust review after sleeping on the bed for awhile if needed.) ... show more
