  • Bed time
Style: Daybed & Trundle Size: Twin Color: Bronze
After 5 hours putting bed together it seems fairly sturdy . After accidentally scraping the leg I realized it wouldn't hold up to my grand children so I put on a finished coat of polyurethane. It's painted but no top coat it seems. Again seems to be good especially the price.

  • Price matches quality
Style: Bed Size: Full Color: White
I'm glad I bought the bed..... POSITIVES: nice color, sturdiness of individual parts, fairly easy to assemble.......... NEGATIVES: The middle 3 legs are about 2-3 inches too short! They don't touch the floor!! So basically it will force the bed to bow in ge middle, when laying on bed they touch. Noises when moving around on bed. Long and short, Its a good bed....get what you pay for. ... show more

  • Bed a little too low
Style: Bed Size: Full Color: White
The bed looks good just as the pictures but I didn’t expect it to be so low. Suitable for a little girl younger than 10 years old but it’s too low for an adult. You have to put a mattress at least 12” to supplement the height but the problem is the foot board is so low that the mattress will stick out above the rail that makes it look weird. Another problem is some of the screws don’t fit the holes and the center metal support don’t touch the floor so I have to put layers of cardboard underneath them. All in all it’s a nice looking bed but isn’t 5 star quality. ... show more

  • Don’t follow the directions.
Style: Daybed & Trundle Size: Twin Color: White
So I got this bed and started putting it together per the directions. The directions say to put all sides together and then do the slats. I was struggling so I called the manufacturer. They sent me a video of the complete opposite. Put the slats in FIRST then connect the sides. How irritating. Now my frame is scratched because I tried to force the slats in. ... show more

  • Updated review after almost two years:
Style: Bed Size: Twin Color: White
I read many reviews before buying this bed. Some were glowing, gushing testaments to the magnificence of it, and others were reports of the horrors. I think the truth is somewhere in between. Here are some things I remember that I'd like to clarify, for anyone who, like me, may be confused by the mixed bag of opinions. The welding isn't expert/detracts from the quality: no, it's supposed to look that way. This is a classic look. The "imperfections" are true to the style. It looks like an antique bed I had when I was young, and the welding spots make it look old, instead of new and cheap. It squeaks/bends/isn't sturdy: it is very sturdy, and it doesn't squeak if you tighten the bolts completely. If you don't do that, this bed will fall apart, after driving you crazy listening to its noise. You can tell that by the way it's assembled. The silver bolts are hideous: yes, they are, but this can be cured quite easily with a $5 metal paint pen, and for the price of this bed, it's still a bargain. The holes don't line up perfectly/you have to force pieces together: that's true, to some extent; you do have you force some of the pieces together. Trust me, though, you don't want to sleep in a bed with extra large holes where everything fits together. It would squeak and lack stability. It's a good thing that it fits snugly. It does fit. There are missing pieces/boxes open/damaged pieces: I'm sure these were valid complaints when posted, but apparently this company got tired of complaints. When I got mine, every single piece was boxed separately and taped securely. I think they got paranoid about missing pieces, because it took me longer to get the tape off than it did to assemble the headboard and footboard. I have slept on it one night, so I can't speak to durability, but it seems solid and it is very comfortable with a good mattress. For $111, I'm happy right now. If that changes, I'll update the review. My only real problem with assembly it's that there are no text directions. The instructions are just pictures, and I find that difficult to decipher; however, that's a personal issue that probably won't affect anyone else. Update: This bed is rated for 160 pounds, so I'm not changing my rating, but keep in mind that kids grow and weights change. Once you break that 160 lb. weight limit, it's only a matter of time before the bed frame buckles and breaks apart. (Keep in mind 160 includes the mattress. I did not, so I was ANGRY, at first. A heavy mattress reduces the size of the person who can use the bed.) If you're shopping for a small child, it's a great value. If you're shopping for a teenager, don't buy this bed. It will not last. I bought it in September 2015, and I put it on the trash pile in January 2018. ... show more
