So far, I really like this elastic cord! I was really sick of other jewelry elastics snapping and ruining my bracelets, so I started reading reviews of different cords. The review for this elastic said that it was extremely strong, and that if you tried to break it with your bare hands, you'd just injure your hands, so I ordered it. So far, I have been able to stretch it and yank it and string it with all kinds of beads and it shows absolutely no risk of snapping. The review I read also said to use jewelry glue to secure the knots (keep in mind that this review was from a third party, not from the company making/selling the cord) so I tried that. So far it has held up nicely, and I'm hoping that it stays secure over time. If not, the review also mentioned a specific kind of knot that should work with this cord so I can try that. I would love if the company made this cord in a much smaller thickness, because I have had a bit of trouble stringing some beads and shells with very small holes. Obviously I knew the thickness of this cord before I bought it, so I was anticipating that. But it works excellently for the bracelets I bought it for, so I would love for them to make a thinner version so that I can use it for my much smaller beads. Overall, I'm really pleased with this cord, and I definitely plan to continue using it!

Great elastic string, slim yet very sturdy. I was previously using a 1 mm string but had difficulties tying it off. No problems with this, just stretch it out a few times first and use a square knot to tie it off. I will use a dab of jewelry glue to reinforce the knot and will slip it inside of a bead (when able to do so, not always). Great value for the amount of product versus cost; better than what I can find locally.

These are a great value! Each color is really beautiful, truly colored like "gems" I would say. They are the perfect length and width for my projects. I don't make bracelets with these, however they definitely would make nice, strong somewhat elastic strings! I am using them for picking pads, and these are perfect for my daughter. She isn't snapping herself with these like she was with the other brand. No harm coming to her while she works on curing her ocd and works on regulating her autism is a win win for me!

Bought this for my beaded bracelets and at first was kind of disappointed because i tried to tie a knot and the cord snapped, so thinking it might have been because of the cord being tight, I cut a second piece and stretched it before putting the beads on it and noticed that it worked a lot better with the finishing knot , after stretching the cord and have already made a bracelet with a matching ring out of it , and also have to add it is pretty strong and durable string and even more durable when it is doubled , all in all I would give it a 5 star review and would recommend!
