My niece is using the bottom to store storage boxes with arts and craft to be able to hid away but also to have easy access to whatever she is looking for that does not have to be stored in a closet up top. Overall decent bed not too bad it really is not for no heavy set person. Itโ€™s sturdy, but not no limit sturdy. It was not too hard to put together, but the clips to attach each bar together for the mattress part was a tad bit hard. Iโ€™m sure someone can find an easier way.     • Nice bed, check pieces before assembling
Bought this bed for my 10yr old son. Wanted the trundle for friends staying over and he wasn't interested in a bunkbed. When I started to assemble I quickly noticed one of the side pieces was bent and would not fit into the holes. Had to stop assembly. Huge inconvenience since I had already removed and sold my sons old bed. Thankfully a quick phone call to the customer service rep got the ball rolling and my replacement part arrived a week later. Finished assembling with no further issues. The hardest part was the snap on pieces. Kept pinching my fingers. My son loves it so we're going to call it a win. ... show more

Didn't think this bed would last long when reading the reviews but my son is 350+lbs and he sleeps on this bed daily. It hasn't broke yet. So I'd say it's sturdy. It was easy 2 put 2gether. I like the pull out bed under.

First off, this is a great price for this type of bed. With that said, you get what you pay for. The bed looks nice, but it is cheap and wobbly. Time will tell whether it holds up, but I don't feel confident that it will last more than a year or so.
