Love these blinds! They feel very high quality and study. The mechanism where it just stays wherever you put it is awesome! Way better than the old style with strings hanging everywhere. Super easy install. I got the faux wood ones first for one room, then the flat ones for a different room. I just keep going back for more as I look around and notice how much worse all the old blinds are in my house. Absolutely recommend these, you won't be disappointed. Also great customer service, one of the blinds was missing the mounting hardware (I blame USPS for this, the box was slightly mangled on one end) but these guys shipped me new hardware on the same day I let them know it was missing. These were fairly easy to install, once I figured out how to get the old ones removed this was a breeze. With such wide blinds, it did make it a little easier to have someone else help. Light blocking is great, I love the white, it really lightened up the room. I don’t know if I’ve noticed a noise level, but they are pretty easy to use. When closed, the light through the shades appears brown. My first picture is with them slightly open, and the second is fully closed. I might have passed on these had I known this in advance, but it's not such a big issue that I'll return them. I used the inside installation and the fit is perfect. Note that this vendor does not automatically subtract 1/2 inch from the measurement, so read the listing carefully. Some vendors do and some don't which can make things confusing. To raise the blind you must push up on the bottom bar at the center and not from either end. This makes it a little awkward for me since I have furniture that sits in front of the center. I really wanted shades with a drawstring but those don't seem to be available anymore. The construction is good. The blinds hang evenly and the shading is consistent from blade to blade. ... show more

Nice quality, 2” slats for relative large window 70x48. Light enough yet not too heavy for the mechanism to push up or pull down. We recently purchased honeycomb room darkening blinds that were 3x the cost and only lasted barely 2 years and the mechanism broke. These blinds need not be pulled up except for cleaning the windows but rather open and close with the handle on one side of the blind. We purchased 2 since there are 2 windows same size in the room. These are NOT faux wood blinds. They are just like those cheap Vinyl blinds except they are 2”blinds. They say they don’t bend. They do bend.
