Nice quality, 2” slats for relative large window 70x48. Light enough yet not too heavy for the mechanism to push up or pull down. We recently purchased honeycomb room darkening blinds that were 3x the cost and only lasted barely 2 years and the mechanism broke. These blinds need not be pulled up except for cleaning the windows but rather open and close with the handle on one side of the blind. We purchased 2 since there are 2 windows same size in the room. Just installed our blinds. They were easy to install and look great, great value. Would buy from this vendor again in a heartbeat. Had an issue due to the shipping company damaging the box, which damaged the blind, and All Strong Ind. shipped a replacement which we received less than a week later. The mechanism for angling the shades starts out incredibly stiff. As you try to tilt the shades down, the plastic rod and the connection hook both feel like they are strained to the breaking point. It gets worse not better as I try to tilt up and back down. It simply will not tilt down. It won't go half way. I have to use it tilted up only, something I would never do. Even this is quite difficult. The picture shows the shades tilted down as far as I can go. Incredibly frustrating to get something this bad that would take time to return when I really needed the shade to operate correctly on Day 1 as it is needed to make my office usable during specific hours. I did call Customer support. The person put me on hold several times to ask someone else questions about my questions and never came back. Eventually I hung up. They had my number and never called back. ... show more

When closed, the light through the shades appears brown. My first picture is with them slightly open, and the second is fully closed. I might have passed on these had I known this in advance, but it's not such a big issue that I'll return them. I used the inside installation and the fit is perfect. Note that this vendor does not automatically subtract 1/2 inch from the measurement, so read the listing carefully. Some vendors do and some don't which can make things confusing. To raise the blind you must push up on the bottom bar at the center and not from either end. This makes it a little awkward for me since I have furniture that sits in front of the center. I really wanted shades with a drawstring but those don't seem to be available anymore. The construction is good. The blinds hang evenly and the shading is consistent from blade to blade. ... show more

Super easy to install...normally my husband would have, but he wasn't able to today, so I took down the old blinds and I stalled these myself..super easy..and I love that to lower or raise you just pull down on the bottom of the blinds to lower or push them up to the desired height... Love these blinds! They feel very high quality and study. The mechanism where it just stays wherever you put it is awesome! Way better than the old style with strings hanging everywhere. Super easy install. I got the faux wood ones first for one room, then the flat ones for a different room. I just keep going back for more as I look around and notice how much worse all the old blinds are in my house. Absolutely recommend these, you won't be disappointed. Also great customer service, one of the blinds was missing the mounting hardware (I blame USPS for this, the box was slightly mangled on one end) but these guys shipped me new hardware on the same day I let them know it was missing.
