I’m liking this jacket! The main reason I purchased the jacket was to extend my riding season now that the temperatures have started to drop. I’m 5’11” and about 190’ish lbs. I ordered a large and it’s a good fit. Lately the temperature has dropped to about 40 degrees, add wind-chill factor at 65mph and I’m experiencing more like a 25-degree temperature (F). This jacket does an excellent job at blocking the wind. When it comes to the wind, I do not feel it at all where I’m protected by the jacket. A large also gives me enough room to wear a hoodie or vest under the jacket for extra layers and I don’t feel restricted at all. I can even fit one of my armored shirts under the jacket, but because those have armor pads I do feel a bit restricted (that’s not a fault of this jacket). I took one start away for two reasons: 1. The hood doesn’t tuck well. It leaves a bulge that gets in the way of my helmet, so I leave it untucked. 2. There are some loose threads starting to appear here and there, but its not bad and nothing that compromises the jacket. Overall, I’m happy with the jacket and would recommend it! Heated jackets are a game changer, why I waited so long to buy one is a head scratcher. I love this thing, it is worth every penny and then some! I think this jacket is a steal even at retail price, discounted, is a no brainer. I laugh at cold temps now. 20°, please, cake walk. A light t-shirt and a medium weight synthetic sweatshirt is more than enough insulation for me when wearing this jacket. It blocks out every bit of wind too, so you stay warm. I messaged Dewbu about the denier rating. I was curious. Dewbu's soft shell jackets have a denier rating of 75. The battery life is pretty spot on to what Dewbu advertises. After doing some "testing" on Low it lasts 10 hours, Medium it lasts 7 hours, High lasts 4 hours. I almost forgot. The power bank takes 3.5 hours to charge from 0-100% with a 2 amp charger. We are planning for cold weather in Iceland in November. We wanted cold gear that was also lightweight for the purposes of travel. Therefore, instead of a bulky parka we opted for a water resistant jacket with a heating system. The battery charges by USB-C. It charges quickly, and it has a digital readout on the power level by percentage. It attaches by a power cable in the jacket. There is a button on the LEFT chest that activates the heating system. There are three power levels. The jacket heats up in the chest, shoulders, back, abdomen and arms very quickly. I found that the highest level was very effective to start up the warming process but the middle and lower levels are also very comfortable. There are zippered pockets in the upper arm and distal arm levels for keys, cards or small items. The body pockets are large enough for gloves or hands. It is a comfortable and stylish looking jacket. I like the storable hood. There are high collars that cover my lower face. I found the hood to be appropriate in size. I love this jacket, and I got it on a good deal for Prime Day! I get compliments on it all the time! It is definitely a good jacket to keep you warm, as I've only had it for two or three days. The only drawback I have is the connection to the battery. The battery definitely takes forever to charge, but on the second day I used the jacket, I went to turn it on, and panicked when it didn't. I had to disconnect the battery and plug it into a charger to check the battery life to make sure it hadn't drained. It hadn't. So when I plugged it back into the jacket, everything worked as it should. If I have to do this all the time, rather than just take the jacket and go, it will certainly be a pain in the long run to have to do this every time. Number 1, this jacket does not require layers, if you wear sweaters and hoodies you won’t feel the heaters, the jacket is designed to work alone with nothing but a T shirt, I wore mines to work with a sweater on and couldn’t feel the heaters, I wore it with a tshirt and was sooo warm in 20 degree weather, try to buy one that fits, you don’t need extra room for more layers the closer the jacket is to skin the better, I normally wear a small but ordered a medium because it was recommended but probably could of ordered a small with a better fit as far as the heat, it’s definitely worth every dime, no fur coat or leather coat can compare for the value your getting with a heated coat, it’s so warm you’ll want to go to sleep!!! I love the jacket great quality! its a little pricy at 150, my right sleeve seems to get hotter then my left isn't working property middle elements are very dime faulty elements, setting wise are ok at low, middle seems not as toasty you pretty much have to have it on high the whole time. great jacket faulty elements battery pack seems to run down pretty quick maybe faulty battery as well. ... show more
