It is a tough system.
Style: ToughSystem Music Player
I've had this radio for 5+ years now, its been through some rough times, I was careful with it for first year or 2 then i treated it like a work radio. I've left it in the rain/snow, it stays in work truck that gets 100+ degrees every day, I've had the too hot and too cold screens too many times to count. At this point nothing is wrong with it, all buttons/blutooth/charger/radio work like new. I've dropped it off a truck at 20+ mph didn't even stop playing. The only thing I can say bad about it is it can only use 5ah battery's at most and it is common for the battery to be loose enough to fall out even just setting it on the ground. Though it could be because its 5 years old, its an easy fix with a few layers of padded 3m tape. I was at a point 2 years ago if it ever broke I would instantly buy a new one 100% justified buy. To me its gone way past getting my money's worth, and I would recommend this radio to anybody who needs a good portable speaker, the bass is good and it goes plenty loud for a big campsite. Pro tip, the radio gets slightly louder and more bass when you have it plugged in, either for charging or with no battery. Max volume with 5ah battery can last 5+ hours, get 2 batteries. 6ah and flexvolt batteries do not fit. Hold power button for a few seconds if you cant figure out how to turn it on. ... show more

Super Tough Box
Style: Large Case
I didn't buy it to use as a toolbox but it would obviously be a great one. I got it to make my own battery/power box... sort of like a Jackery. I installed a 12v 100Ah lithium battery and a 2000 watt inverter that I had as well a few other connections as in the photo. I installed a battery display on the outside connected to a shunt inside, a 12 v heavy duty on/off switch, USB outlets, a 12 volt 50 amp Anderson plug and a 120 volt outlet on the end of the box. I've also added, since this photo, a 12 volt accessory outlet and an SAE outlet that I use to connect to a solar charger and panels. I wanted the toughest non metallic toolbox I could find for this project and this one was it for sure. ... show more

This isn't a dewalt speaker or radio, it's the whole effin sound system.
Style: ToughSystem Music Player
There's nothing to not love here. I truly don't comprehend how this level of sound is produced by such a small item. The waterproof storage compartment on top is a great safe storage area for small valuables while working... It's tricky to learn and takes 2 hands to open-> things won't easily walk off. Some people are kinda stupid and uncoordinated thus see this as a negative, but for those of us intelligent enough to not drown in a bowl of soup, it's a combination safe on top of everything else. You can charge 5a batteries or smaller while you also charge your phone, all the while blaring bohemian rhapsody and knocking out some work. Place the speaker on a pair of empty 5gal buckets to get ridiculous bass out of it. I work outside and in the rain when the weather says it's time to rain. I don't cover the speaker and haven't yet... It's unaffected so far. This will still be easily heard going down the interstate with all the windows down and having trucks on both sides of you. Not quite a fast charger, but does seem faster than the regular black charger. If you listen to music everyday, and use dewalt tools, it's not very hard to justify the cost... The speakers alone are Bose quality if not better. Clear and powerful. 100% would buy again. Dewalt knocked it out of the stadium with this one. ... show more

Another excellent DeWalt product with one caveat.
Style: Extra Large Case
This is a great, extremely sturdy, portable toolbox. The one thing that some other reviewers mentioned, and I agree with, is that since this toolbox is quite deep and only has a small tray on top, all the tools under the tray get piled underneath and tend to get lost among themselves. I found a sturdy plastic tray on amazon.com. The listing is: “JSMaster Carry caddy, gray, plastic storage, tool tray/tote. I put the larger tools like hammers, mallets, torque wrenches, hack saws, etc. on the bottom of the toolbox. Then I set this JSMaster tray on top of them and filled it with smaller tools, wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, etc. I use the top OEM tray for things I want to get to quickly or often. It works out pretty well. ... show more

VERY Large - but handles are not strong enough for a lot of weight w/out CART
Style: Extra Large Case
Using this as a straight "toolbox," filled with tools is not going to work. The handles (ALL three) are not going to be strong enough and will break - as many people have already stated! It would work fine with the optional "cart." I needed this for electrical tools and bulky light weight electrical items as a "GO KIT." The weight added up very quick with minimal tools & supplies. It is NOT an easy carry using the top handle at about 30lbs as the bulk size bangs into your knees. Any use of the three handles seem sturdy at this weight. TWO other PRO's to note: 1) The entire back has a VERY NICE TOOL RACK that I found incredibly useful for all of my special electrical tools that always got buried in the 3 [THREE] various other toolboxes I have used, that when packed full, STILL didn't hold all I needed!! 2) This is a true AIR TIGHT unit and even has a vacuum relief valve (so you can open it.) Throw some Desiccant Packs you get with other junk in there and it will keep your tools from rusting!!! ... show more

Best stackable drybox there is
Style: Extra Large Case
I live in a extremely humid area after I found out these have a seal on them I bought a few more. I just wish I wasn't in an apartment and actually had a garage to mount the rack. Will probably buy more in the future as I have used several types of containers (ammo boxes, otter boxes, salvage bins) but these are by far the most practical. ... show more

It's nice but the 2.0 is way better
Style: Extra Large Case
Snapped together nicely with the dewalt tough case I already owned. I have since purchased the new tough cases 2.0 by dewalt and think it's definitely worth the extra money if you have it. I do not own any packout made by Milwaukee so I can't give a fair assessment or comparison. But rating this item as an individual the latches work well. It has a strong water tight seal. There is a removable tray that fits inside along with a rubber holder that is nice for holding Allen wrenches, handtools and small pliers. ... show more
