I just gotta say. This thing is awesome. I was not sure that it could actually put out any significant amount of cold air but I am truly impressed. It does a great job of portable cooling that is practical in areas such as my garage which is not air conditioned. Now instead of sweating like crazy when I am in there working on my car or other products I have this device to cool down the room some. Now, I will say that this does output some cool air, but it is not going to cool down a giant garage to a low level, however, it does cool it down to a more acceptable level. I was able to get roughly two hours of use on the 20V battery, and it is easy to swap out batteries. The ice lasted for roughly a full day of use. It has the classic DEWALT appearance in bright yellow and it matches all of my other DEWALT tools. The lid functions well to keep that battery safe. It also has an extra charging port if you wanted to charge your phone or speaker, or other device, which could be handy in other situations. This Ice chest swamp cooler does exact what it says it does. It's not going to cool down a giant room, or run all day, but for what it does, it's valuable. It easily brings down the temperature of my garage to a more bearable temp and has made working out there a lot more manageable. It is not too loud, and I have not had any issues with it so far. Good quality.

The Dewalt portable air cooler is an impressive product. It not only looks good, but it also feels durable when you handle it. It works as a cooler and also doubles as a power bank for USB-C devices, which makes it really practical for trips and travel. It functions as an ice chest, cooling box, and even a small AC unit. It blows out cool air while helping keep drinks chilled on hot days. Our family has already been using it a lot, and everybody loves it. I can already tell this will be coming with us on future trips. It also does not take up much space in the back of the car, which helps when packing for family outings. It’s easy to maintain and simple to use. Even when loaded up, the front handle and rear wheels make moving it around much easier than expected. It weighs around 20 pounds, so the wheels definitely help once you add ice and drinks. One thing to know is that it does not come with a battery. It uses one Dewalt 20V battery, but you need to supply your own. That may not be a problem if you already own Dewalt tools and batteries, but it is something to factor into the cost if you do not. This has quickly become one of our favorite travel gadgets, especially for hot weather trips where having cold drinks and cool air at the same time makes a big difference.

We have a fairly full suite of Dewalt 20V tools and accessories and selected this portable air conditioner/ice chest combo to add to that. We are happy to report that this unit carries the same quality and performance that has helped build the Dewalt brand into what it is today. The quality is the first stand-out attribute of this unit. The fit and finish is top tier. We like that the lid has a gas strut assist to help keep the lid open. The performance is right there, too. It can be used as a standard cooler or can be used as an air conditioner. We haven’t had the opportunity to try it in the scorched earth heat of the full summer sun but in the testing that we did do, we are impressed. We have little doubt that this will help make those extra hot days more comfortable and tolerable. We really like that this is fully portable and that it uses standard Dewalt 20V batteries, so the cold air will keep coming , as long as batteries are swapped out and the ice is kept stocked!
