I did not see instructions with my trimmer. I stripped the inner treads off of one side of the accessory handle clamp. I did not know which side to put the screws into and which direction the handle pointed. I could not tighten it completely. Besides that, the trimmer is an improvement over gas trimmers I have used. I bought this being a huge Dewalt fan. This broke me into the 60v tools. Saying this, the string trimmer was used very little and didn't last a year. It quit running and wouldn’t turn on. I live 3 hrs from the nearest Dewalt service center. I tried multiple batteries and nothing. I cracked open the case and had to rewrite some terrible connections. Dewalt sells the motor and switches in one piece and you can’t even get the parts. This should tell you something. I spent real good money on this piece of equipment and just about gave up on it before I rewired it. They used cheap clip style wire connections that come with light fixtures. Just garbage. I expect more from a premium tool. The one picture is the type of wire connections they used. I cut them out and used wire nuts. I am sure quality crimps would work also. ... show more
