Purchased this as a Christmas gift for someone, at the recommendation of someone else who uses this compressor frequently. However, the recipient already had it. The item shipped quickly and was in great condition. Customer service was very helpful in assisting me with returning the item.

Purchased this product from Maxtools, through Amazon, as a gift for my father, however, he already owned it! Great compressor! Seller was very co-operative with return of product when contacted by phone directly.

It's past warranty expiration and the compressor has blown out. I used it mostly for air hose and some occasional 18 gauge nails & staples. I honestly did not notice that at the time of purchase, this was 'refurbished' as I was not aware Amazon sold these kinds of products especially for the same price as 'un-refurbished' versions of the same product from other sellers. The compressor would sporadically not turn on which I informed the seller. The seller in-turn told me to take the problem to Dewalt. Recently, the motor started to rev high and blew out the odor of mechanical death. Contacted Dewalt in-turn said it's past the expiration date. (Problems started way before warranty expired.) Now that the product has died it's obvious to me the unit was junk from the beginning, so in conclusion, I'm not happy with the product, seller, Dewalt and particularly Amazon. Fortunately, going forward I can cut my loses by avoiding them all! ... show more

I bought this "reconditioned", but it came in the original box, and was in perfect condition. Generally a great compressor for most of the work I do in the lab. This is the second one I have purchased, because I liked the first one. Outstanding value!
