Powerful and Convenient for Jobs Around the House

This little shop vacuum is fantastic. I use it for all kinds of cleanup around the house, and it has plenty of suction for such a compact, portable unit. The two-gallon size makes it easy to carry from room to room, and it’s especially convenient for quick messes when I don’t want to drag out a full-size vacuum. It is definitely worth the money. One of the Best Tool Purchases I’ve Made

5/5 Stars As a heavy equipment mechanic, I use this vacuum almost every day to clean machine cabs and keep my work van tidy. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, has impressive suction, and the battery life is more than enough for multiple cleanups on a single charge. The filter is simple to clean, I haven’t had any clogging issues, and it’s quieter than I expected. Since it uses the DEWALT 20V battery platform, it’s always ready to go. The only thing I’d do differently is buy the kit with the battery and charger. I already owned DEWALT batteries, so the bare tool made sense for me, but the combo kit is probably the better value if you’re just getting started. This cordless vac handles quick living room messes without much fuss

The cordless setup is why I grabbed this for our living room; I already own DEWALT 20V batteries, so I didn’t need another charger. It stays nearby for the usual kid messes and tracked-in dirt. Last weekend, my son spilled cereal beside the couch, and I vacuumed it up before anyone stepped on it. It also handles a small wet spill, which saves me dragging out the big vacuum. Suction has been good for quick cleanup, and the HEPA filter is a nice touch. The two-gallon tank fills sooner than I’d like, though, so I empty it often. Great Shop Vac!

This cordless shop vac is one of the best things I have purchased in a long time. It is compact, easy to carry and super easy to use. Used it for the first time on the interior of my car, which hadn't seen a vacuum in a long time. It did a great job of getting all the debris up and it was great not being tethered to a cord. Overall I liked it but it does have one serious design flaw

While I own three shops vacs, I needed something portable but would still pick up job site waste (sawdust, drywall dust, wood chunks, etc). This unit does all that. Suction is good for its size. I like that it takes the newer 20V packs and seems to last a couple hours (actual use time) on one charge. It would have been nice if it came with a brush attachment and maybe space to store at least one more attachment. That said, there is one major design flaw. The exhaust port is located in the side of the unit near the center. So, you blow as much dust as you gather. For that reason, the unit is completely worthless in an enclosed space (e.g., a cabinet or closet). You can either buy a longer hose and keep the unit away from where you're cleaning. In which case you can't conveniently store the hose and will lose some suction. Or you can buy a diffuser (aka muffler), however, I could not find a diffuser for a 1.25" port. So, you have to also buy a 2.5" to 1.25" reducer. But since they located the exhaust port on the side of the unit, you now have a diffuser which sticks out several inches from the side. You could also buy a 90 degree elbow so the protrusion is upward but will suffer additional loss in suction. Additional, as the diffuser itself will reduce suction somewhat. So, if this will be an issue for you, plan on spending another $30 for a longer hose or diffuser. ... show more
