    • Smaller than I expected, with a strange smell

The fabric used seems to be holding a strange chemical type smell! Not thrilled about that. I knew the measurements but still imagined it would be bigger than it is. I have 3 daughters in gymnastics and have been looking for a good incline mat that didn't cost a fortune (which is difficult to find) the price is low and shipping is free and fast, which is the good part, but for what it is, if I had seen it in the store I would've expected it to cost about half what I paid. I would have just paid extra to get the larger folding one. I would say for gymnastics use, I would suggest it for ages 2-4. I had difficulty finding any bigger ones for a good price so it looks like this is what we'll stick with for now. I am giving it as a gift for Christmas, and I know they'll be excited to have an at home incline mat while away from the gym, but I will continue shopping around for a larger one to add to our at home gym. We will use this for forward rolls, backward rolls, and hopefully backbend kickovers- but I think with the size they will end up having to keep their hands on the floor and feet on the incline rather than fitting on the whole mat to practice kickovers. As some others have mentioned, it's not the same material as most other wedges. That said, I can't really complain about it. It works well, the kids love it, and after a couple months of abuse from several children, it still looks like new. For our purposes (mainly for young kids to play on) it works very well. If you have an older kid looking for something to do backbends/walk-overs on, you may want something longer and not quite as steep. ... show more

This mat is excellent! We purchased it for our 3 year old to practice tumbling at home. She loves it! It is the perfect size for home, great quality, and exactly what we were hoping for. I am very pleased with the product and will be recommending it to others looking for some at home practice.

This is definitely not the mat that we received. The mat we received was made from a tarp type material. It has tape holding it together with no stitching. Very poor quality.

We bought this for our daughters to practice for gymnastic. We live in a very hot climate during the summer and it will help them stay active and not drive mom crazy. Matierial is strong good sewing on seems and will be easy to wipe down if needed. Once we have had it for a while I will let you know how it stands up for longer periods! ... show more
