  • Great, powerful impact
We've had this for a couple of years now, and it's been fantastic. It works as well as it did on day one, and we've never had an issue with it. It's been extremely helpful on many projects, mostly automotive. It rarely meets a bolt it can't break loose. I think only some insanely stubborn exhaust bolts have bested it. Overall, we are pleased with the power. It's pretty heavy, which is to be expected for a large impact. As with all Milwaukee tools, the design is thoughtful and it's well made. The battery charges up quickly and has a good lifespan. The battery is easy to remove, as well. We love Milwaukee tools and have yet to be disappointed by any of our purchases. For power, quality, and convenience, I recommend paying a little more for Milwaukee over other brands if you'll be using your tools fairly frequently. ... show more

  • Great tool with tons of power
This tool has a ton of torque. I have a Dewalt impact gun that wasn't strong enough to loosen the blades on my mower or the lug nuts on the tractor tires. My brother in law has this one he let me use it and it was strong enough for the lug nuts and for the mower blades. I liked it so much I bought one and I haven't found a job yet that it can't handle. ... show more

  • Power setting is nice
I love the power settings on this tool. Although, I didn’t read the directions on it at first. I was trying to break loose a 32mm pinion nut and the gun was barely dugga-dugging. I was thinking, “this thing sucks”. Then I read the directions and cranked the power setting to max. When I hit that trigger it spun the earth around the nut! I also like the smart setting on it where once torque is broke loose it backs off on the power and spins the nut off at a controllable speed instead of flinging it halfway across my shop and into my 10 gallon bin full of old nuts and bolts that my wife doesn’t understand why I keep around (had it happen before). The only drawback for some might be its weight. It’s pretty heavy, especially with the big battery on it. But hey, if you can’t handle I guess you could always change careers to be an electrician. ... show more
