I tried these blades a year ago and was really impressed with them. Once I ran through them I went back to the 5-blade heads that I had left and immediately noticed the difference. These are so much easier on the face for someone like myself who has somewhat sensitive skin and they seem to last longer, too. I don't know the difference in the way they are made, but whatever it is it really works. Maybe it's the angle of the blades to the face, or maybe something else; whatever it is I'm glad they make these blades. I'm really glad these things have the edge trimmer blade at the top, too. The generic brands don't have that and so I avoid them like the plague. You see, I have a goatee that requires trimming; the generics can't do it, so I buy Gillette. But the biggest advantage of these is the comfort, and I don't know of any other blade that can compete.
