I am a big fan of Dewalt drills. it works great and I have been using it for a while with no issues. It allowed me to drill holes in my tile shower to mount the shower door. It has enough power to get through most obstacles and it wasn't too expensive, so it won't break the bank.

Got this for my son who was getting his own apartment. Easy to use, fairly light weight with the included 2Ah battery. Dewalt has some more robust models for heavy duty use but this is an ideal model for most things around a home or apartment. I also bought a second 2Ah battery for convenience. This is a good drill driver. Good torque. Plenty of RPM range / speed. Comfortable grip. Long battery life - even with the 2 AH battery. Folks that plan on using this for driving multiple types of screws should note that there is no holder for multiple bits. So, if you are driving screws with T-20 heads, and then go to a larger screw with T-30 heads, you will have to search your pockets or your surroundings for the other bit. ... show more

This drill sounds like a jet engine. So smooth. Really incredible. Came with a carrying bag, which was an unexpected surprise gift. How many DeWalt drills and impact wrenches have I owned ? This drill is by far the best thing I have ever bought from DeWalt. And I have everything DeWalt sells, including shirts. I'm a Hurricane Florence survivor. My house was a stud gut. It sucked. But I rebuilt it. 62% alone all by myself. When you have that much work to do the DeWalt stuff really makes it easier. Wish I had this drill but I would have killed it just like I did the old one. Unless I get another hurricane house to rebuild, I expect to have this drill for a long time. Did I mention it sounds like a jet? ... show more
