It's a Dewalt battery - you know what to expect with one of these. It's a light weight, 2mah battery I'll use in my drill or sander or grinder or jigsaw or something. What I wasn't expecting was for it to arrive in no packaging other than a couple of plastic baggies and an Amazon box. I ordered a 5Mah version from another seller at the same time, and that arrived in a full retail blister package. This seems fine. Seems genuine. These batteries are tough. Sewer replacements, water main burst, freezing temperatures, 105⁰ days in the heat they've survived it all. It was a terrible idea but I had to repair a burst water main in a thunderstorm to help a customer get water back on. These puppies kept on truckin and helped me get the job done. I can't wait until I'm able to afford two Dewalt six amp batteries to compliment by Dewalt reciprocating saws and my 61/2 inch cordless circular saw, but until then I must fight on with my 2 amp batteries; in fact, to be totally honest with you my 2 amp batteries proved to be superior to two 8 amp knockoff batteries I purchased from Walmart! The 2 amp batteries came with my Dewalt tool kit, and I ordered two more 2 amp batteries before I had a better understanding of Dewalt's impressive battery technology. So, I am using four 2 amp batteries to run 2 reciprocating saws and a 6 1/2 inch circular saw each day until I can afford two 6 amp batteries or at least one of them. Thanks Dewalt for packing a lot of torque and power in those 2 amp batteries that are affordable for those of us who cannot afford the more powerful batteries. Thanks Dewalt and thanks Amazon.
