  • Powerful, Long-Lasting DEWALT FLEXVOLT Batteries for Heavy-Duty Tools
Style: 2 Pack
I recently purchased the DEWALT FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX 9.0-Ah Batteries (DCB609-2) and have been thoroughly impressed with their performance. This two-pack set is a game-changer for anyone using DEWALT’s 20V, 60V, or even 120V MAX tools. #### Performance and Versatility These batteries feature innovative dual-voltage technology, automatically switching between 20V and 60V, depending on the tool. This makes them incredibly versatile, compatible with a wide range of DEWALT tools. In 20V tools, they offer up to **6 times the runtime** compared to standard 1.5 Ah batteries, making them perfect for extended projects without frequent recharges:citation[oaicite:8]{index=8}:citation[oaicite:7]{index=7}. #### Power and Runtime Each battery has a substantial **9.0-Ah capacity**, providing ample power for high-demand tools. I used these with my cordless circular saw and was able to tackle tough, high-load applications without any hiccups. The runtime is impressive; during a recent project involving extensive cutting, a single charge lasted all day, which significantly boosted my productivity:citation[oaicite:6]{index=6}:citation[oaicite:5]{index=5}. #### Design and Features These batteries come with an LED state-of-charge indicator, allowing me to quickly check the battery levels at a glance. This feature helps avoid unexpected interruptions during work, ensuring I can plan recharges during natural breaks in my projects:citation[oaicite:4]{index=4}. The batteries also run cooler compared to similar high-capacity models from competitors, reducing the risk of overheating during intense tasks:citation[oaicite:3]{index=3}. #### Durability and Warranty The build quality is robust, typical of DEWALT’s standards. They feel solid and well-made, capable of withstanding the rigors of a busy job site. Additionally, the batteries are covered by a **3-year limited warranty**, along with a 1-year free service agreement and a 90-day satisfaction guarantee, giving me peace of mind regarding my investment:citation[oaicite:2]{index=2}:citation[oaicite:1]{index=1}. #### Compatibility The batteries are compatible with all DEWALT chargers that support 20V/60V, making them easy to integrate into my existing setup. I use the DCB107 charger, and it works perfectly with these batteries, ensuring quick and efficient charging:citation[oaicite:0]{index=0}. #### Final Thoughts Overall, the DEWALT FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX 9.0-Ah Batteries (DCB609-2) are a fantastic addition to any DEWALT toolset. They offer outstanding power, flexibility, and reliability, ideal for both DIY enthusiasts and professional contractors. Whether you're cutting through thick lumber or powering up a heavy-duty leaf blower, these batteries will not disappoint. Highly recommended for those who demand the best from their cordless tools. ... show more

  • The battery lasts longer than I expected.
Style: 1 Pack
Using this on a string trimmer, which we all know eats batteries for breakfast. This battery just lasts. Super reliable. I get more work done and worry less on having a charge.

The newly manufactured dewalt battery was defective. The seller sent a return label and will send me a replacement when he receives the return. The battery had a date code of 2-2025.

  • 9ah
Style: 1 Pack
This arrived on time. Genuine Dewalt battery. This is a large heavy battery. It is a tight fit on the Dewalt leaf blower, but I got it in there. Fits the Dewalt drill but you don't want a heavy battery and drill in the tool bag. The light works well with this battery. I find the best use is the Dewalt weed trimmer. • Died in 6 months, Dewalt website support honored warranty
Style: 1 Pack
Purchased Dec 7 2024. It stopped being able to be charged on July 26 2025. That's about 6 months. I tried with 3 different chargers and none of them had any problem charging my other 9ah Flexvolt. The price for how long it lasts got me all kinds of messed up. I paid extra, a lot extra, for a genuine 9Ah Dewalt battery and it dies in 6 months?!?! I might go back to the cheap 3rd party batteries. The 3rd parties don't last long either but I got 2 years out of those. I figured I'd get longer out of a genuine brand with better electronics inside, nope. I need the bigger flexvolt to run the Dewalt blade edger, leaf blower, and chainsaw at full speed. Contacted Dewalt through their website and provided pictures of the date code and model (required) and they're sending a replacement (2 weeks shipping). The warranty is not updated after receiving the replacement so you cannot continually replace these every time they fail past the limited warranty period. I use them once a week so after 6 months that about 24 uses before failure. At this rate I'll have to contact Dewalt every 6 months. :( ... show more

  • Hell of a deal!
Style: 1 Pack
I paid $140 for a $350 battery. Not stolen merchandise or a damaged, refurbished unit and Dewalt allowed me to register it, so it was legit. I was so happy, I got another one. Great power and storage capacity.

  • DeWALT does it again with QUALITY
Style: 2 Pack
I have a few of the 20V tools from DeWalt and there are 2 of them that I use frequently on my job site. I was using a 5Ah battery on those 2 tools and for the most part the battery held a charge long enough for me to use the tools for a few days on the job site before needing to charge that 5 Ah battery pack. I decided to go the route on picking up these Flex Volt packs knowing that they will work on pretty much all of my 20V tools I have from DeWalt and eventually will get into some of the 60V FlexVolt tools. I use these 2 battery packs on the 2 tools I use regularly and knew that they would run much longer before I need to charge up these packs. Yes they are much larger than the 5Ah batteries and I can feel a weight difference but the pros outweigh the cons by a LOOOOOOOONG shot. I even noticed a slight power increase with one of the tools that I use by using the FlexVolt battery over the 5Ah battery, even though the tool is only drawing 20V, it has much more amperes at its disposal to run stronger while I am using the FlexVolt batteries on it. (Not all of DeWalt Tools will perform better with FlexVolt batteries. Most will still have the same performance specs as if you were running a smaller battery pack on them.) Simply put, You can not go wrong with DEWALT! The right tools for the right job! "TAKE ADVANGE OF MORE POWER" --DeWalt ... show more
