  • Powerful, Long-Lasting DEWALT FLEXVOLT Batteries for Heavy-Duty Tools
Style: 2 Pack
I recently purchased the DEWALT FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX 9.0-Ah Batteries (DCB609-2) and have been thoroughly impressed with their performance. This two-pack set is a game-changer for anyone using DEWALT’s 20V, 60V, or even 120V MAX tools. #### Performance and Versatility These batteries feature innovative dual-voltage technology, automatically switching between 20V and 60V, depending on the tool. This makes them incredibly versatile, compatible with a wide range of DEWALT tools. In 20V tools, they offer up to **6 times the runtime** compared to standard 1.5 Ah batteries, making them perfect for extended projects without frequent recharges:citation[oaicite:8]{index=8}:citation[oaicite:7]{index=7}. #### Power and Runtime Each battery has a substantial **9.0-Ah capacity**, providing ample power for high-demand tools. I used these with my cordless circular saw and was able to tackle tough, high-load applications without any hiccups. The runtime is impressive; during a recent project involving extensive cutting, a single charge lasted all day, which significantly boosted my productivity:citation[oaicite:6]{index=6}:citation[oaicite:5]{index=5}. #### Design and Features These batteries come with an LED state-of-charge indicator, allowing me to quickly check the battery levels at a glance. This feature helps avoid unexpected interruptions during work, ensuring I can plan recharges during natural breaks in my projects:citation[oaicite:4]{index=4}. The batteries also run cooler compared to similar high-capacity models from competitors, reducing the risk of overheating during intense tasks:citation[oaicite:3]{index=3}. #### Durability and Warranty The build quality is robust, typical of DEWALT’s standards. They feel solid and well-made, capable of withstanding the rigors of a busy job site. Additionally, the batteries are covered by a **3-year limited warranty**, along with a 1-year free service agreement and a 90-day satisfaction guarantee, giving me peace of mind regarding my investment:citation[oaicite:2]{index=2}:citation[oaicite:1]{index=1}. #### Compatibility The batteries are compatible with all DEWALT chargers that support 20V/60V, making them easy to integrate into my existing setup. I use the DCB107 charger, and it works perfectly with these batteries, ensuring quick and efficient charging:citation[oaicite:0]{index=0}. #### Final Thoughts Overall, the DEWALT FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX 9.0-Ah Batteries (DCB609-2) are a fantastic addition to any DEWALT toolset. They offer outstanding power, flexibility, and reliability, ideal for both DIY enthusiasts and professional contractors. Whether you're cutting through thick lumber or powering up a heavy-duty leaf blower, these batteries will not disappoint. Highly recommended for those who demand the best from their cordless tools. ... show more

  • Excellent Battery Life and Powerful Performance
Style: 2 Pack
We bought these batteries for our DEWALT cordless wood cutting machine, and they have been excellent so far. They are very powerful, last a long time, and help us get a lot of work done without constantly stopping to recharge. The performance has been very reliable, even during heavy jobs, and the batteries still work great. We are very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend them for DEWALT tools and construction work. ... show more

  • Impressive batteries
Style: 2 Pack
I have to admit that these batteries add an impressive amount power to my 20v lineup. I've only used these on my 20v weed wacker so far and I get about an hour use on high. Battery pack didn't even get warm. Usually I'll get around 30min with the 5.0ah. I think it lasted around double the time because the load is spread out with 15 internal 18650 batteries in the 20v/60v vs 10 18650 batteries in the 20v 5.0ah pack. Didn't really notice the weight using the weed wacker, but they are definitely heavier. You really notice it when you have one of each in your hands. They are also bigger in size. Wider, so you can't use the belt clip if you put these in a drill or driver, but I think these are overkill for those tools. The 5.0ah is more than enough for those. These will be specifically used in my 20v brushless weed wacker, my 20v brushless reciprocating saw, and my 20v grinder. These are also tall, it's pretty close to stacking 3 2.0ah batteries on top of each other. Overall I love them. You don't notice the weight in the bigger tools and it seems like the charge lasts forever. ... show more

  • Stay with original factory batteries
Style: 2 Pack
Tried Chinese knock offs and went back to original dewalt batteries
Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2026 by 1 tire and rim was wider than the other. 1 fit perfectly with all parts the second one has missing spacers and bolt sleeve and would not fit my bad boy maverick.

  • These things are awesome, heavy, but awesome!
Style: 2 Pack
These batteries are awesome. I initially intended on buying the 12ah version, but reconsidered when I realised you can get two 9ah for essentially the same price. I have nearly the entire Dewalt 20volt lineup of tools, and I think they are great. This battery is pretty heavy though, and it may not make the most sense on every tool, in every situation. With that said, when the situation does call for it, these things do the job very well. There is a noticeable power difference and they last forever, even on high demand tools, like a circular saw. I would recommend buying these if long battery life is what you need. ... show more

  • Real Dewalt Batteries
Style: 2 Pack
Batteries work well, lots of power. Only issue is Dewalt is very proud of them and charges a fortune for the batteries.

  • Push them to 12 amp hour and bury Milwaukee.
Style: 2 Pack
Just stunning in performance, makes the 20 volt 6 saw left blade stand up like no other power source. You finally did it DeWalt, you went past the 36 volt line of tools in every tool but the circular saw in performance. I have the Flexvolt grinder, the right angle DCD460 right angle, just next level. But you won't put a better battery in the DC300, it is going to die by design @ 2 amp hours. It is like Wozniak asking Steve Jobs to give credit to the Apple 2 team. You did it, my entire 36 line is going on Ebay, except the DC300, the last hold out to 7'1/4 left blade, and the most energy intensive tool of the 36 line. I don't get it, the engineering is done for both blade sides, you don't have to release one or the other,, release both designs and ring the register. Thanks for a great product. 4 Flexvolt 9's 4 Flexvolt 6's, 5-40, 7.5's, 12 -36 volt's, 12- 20 volt max, 6-20 volt slims. Do you realize if you made a Energy station for the 40 volt line @ 7.5 amp hour you could get to 1.2 kilowatts of storage, that is a lot of energy. DeWalt, you know I love my work, and you have made me good money, but you don't know how to leverage energy into my time off equally as much as when I am working with the energy storage you provide. Tools and energy can make money, but as of now they do nothing to benefit vacation time, we have the yig but not the yang. Edit 4/21/17 Come on DeWalt, the tech can go to 12 amp hr, throw it at at us like a Tesla & charge.Flex is at 180 Wh @ 20 volts, the 40 volt line @ 300 wh (36 nominal) can beat it ,but it can't charge as fast as discharge. You want to save the 40 line, give us a DCB1800 in the 40 volt line that can make a 20 amp 120 outlet our bitch. Charge,, as fast as discharge, that makes us money in the trades. But will also power the camp light,,, all night. ... show more
