My husband and I both use a lot of indoor and outdoor tools and have found that Dewalt tools are reliable. I recently bought a Dewalt pole saw, and decided to buy a couple of extra batteries so that work I was doing was not halted for lack of a functioning battery. In my research, I found that this battery model was highly rated. I learned that a higher AH rating means the battery can power devices for a longer time before needing a recharge which means less recharging. My husband has a couple of Dewalt batteries for his tools that he offered to share, but the AH rating is much lower on his batteries. I chose to get my own batteries for my tools. Like most products you buy, you need to do the research. A good deal is not always the best deal. I am happy with these batteries for the longer time to be used, and would recommend them. These batteries are amazing. I bought them in a combo because it's always useful to have a spare charged while you use the other, and they've really lasted a long time. So not the best title, I agree. I am a Dewalt guy all the way. I need my tools to hold up and work. Yes they are expensive. But I need to maintain the same batteries with each tool. And as you know. Manufacturers change batteries ALL THE TIME! plus they are extremely expensive. Well I got a heck of a deal on these batteries. That "If it's too good to be true, then it probably isn't" No I don't know how well Amazon controls "Fake" or Knock-off products. It's definitely Buyer be ware. I bought these because of the 5 Amp and because of price. Once they came in I looked them over completely. Checking the text. Font. Everything they show you that might be fake. So bottom line? I don't know. The biggest giveaway is if the batteries are different than what Dewalt uses! Which means I have to take them apart. Which I'd rather not. So now it comes down to "How long will it last?" The sooner it dies will be an indicator. I will update later but right now I am very happy with the price and my thought is even if it does "Slowly" die did I get enough use out of it.     • Don't delay- especially for yard tools
These last over 2x as long as the battery the yard rolls come with. Maintain power until they have none left.

    • Good solid tools
It's Dewalt. They work great and last. I still have batteries from as far back as 2011,( according to the date stamped on them). Only had one go bad, so far, so hard to deny reliability.
