Description

The DEWALT 4 Gal. Lithium-ion Powered Backpack Sprayer has been built to outperform, outlast and finish the job in less time - with no more pumping. The lithium-ion powered backpack sprayer has Variflo® technology which allows the operator to adjust the flow for multiple applications using specific nozzles for consistent spraying. This sprayer has a deluxe harness with wide, padded shoulder straps that fit snug across the torso and curve to the contour of the user's body. An adjustable hip harness assists with weight distribution, relieving burden from the user's shoulders. Multiple nozzle tips are included for versatility in both application rates and patterns and can be stored on the included nozzle clip. Equipped with a comfort grip handle and lock-on mechanism, this shut-off system can be easily operated with heavy-duty work gloves. It includes a 50 in. heavy-duty nylon-reinforced hose and strain relief system preventing the hose from kinking at the chemical exit point. This sprayer unit is also equipped with chemically resistant Viton seals throughout to withstand the effects of harsh chemicals. Whether it's for weeding and feeding, or controlling pests - users are equipped for the Job. It's GUARANTEED TOUGH.

I was initially skeptical about the price of this sprayer, but since I already owned a DeWalt drill battery, I decided to give it a try. Having used both 2-gallon and 4-gallon manual pump backpack sprayers in the past, I can say there is simply no comparison; this electric sprayer is a game changer. What normally takes me 45 minutes to complete was finished in about 15 minutes. The efficiency is incredible, as I no longer have to stop and pump every few minutes. While it has the weight you would expect from a 4-gallon backpack, it is manageable, and I found that filling it with 2 gallons was plenty for my needs. For those who prefer not to carry it, some companies make wheeled trolleys to pull the unit behind you. The unit is very quiet, features 10 spray settings, and produces an excellent spray pattern that can reach long distances. The build quality is sturdy, and the shoulder harness is extremely comfortable. I used a small 1.5 Ah battery to spray around my house, pool, deck, and pavilion, and it still showed a full charge when I was finished. I am so impressed that I am getting rid of my manual sprayers. I had Dewalt 20v batteries from having Dewalt tools. So I thought I'd give this 4 gallon sprayer a try. Love it! No more pumping the sprayer. I can spray my entire property within 10 minutes easily with a heavy spray. It is very well made too. Battery life was still on full when I finished. So the unit is very efficient. ... show more

This is a great sprayer. Easy to assemble, amazing battery life. No comparison to the small hand pump sprayers or the large backpack hand pump sprayers. Very comfortable to wear. Easy to clean and store. Looks like it should last for quite some time.

I've used pump sprayers for most of my life. I've been satisfied with DeWalt tools when I came across this. This thing is awesome! It's well designed comfortable to wear, there's plenty of power and the battery didn't go below two out of four after I sprayed 4 gallons. It makes super quick work out of what used to be a chore. Works like a charm. It is heavy when fully loaded, but beats repearedly filling and carrying 1 gallon hand pumps to complete a single job. Several tip options to select from are included. I purchased the bare tool because i have plenty of batteries and chargers already. Kept the cost down. My advice, and DeWalt’s recommendation from the owner manual, is to practice first with all of them until you find the desired tip and adjustable pump pressure to suit your need. . Then load your product and your you're off. Note, There will be leftover product that the pump wont pick up. Empy this in your hand pump sprayer for quick and easy spot treatments later, if needed. Works really well. Includes a speed control of sorts. Pretty handy being able to adjust volume through sprayer. Comes with several spray tips. Couple of fans, an adjustable cone shape, as well as a foaming. When full this is a bit heavier than some others, but it does have more harness assy. I am using 5 AH batteries. So far one battery fully charged has lasted two fillups, 8 gallons total. I will use the same battery on the next tank full to see how it goes. I tried another system by the same manufacture It was red, it came with a 2 AH battery and charger. The battery did not last the full 4 gallons. I’m spraying herbicides. ... show more
