  • Does not work! DOA
Size: YRR1.0
Was a while after I received it to get to try it. Wanted to engrave some tumblers, but the motor makes grinding noise, but does not turn anything. Unfortunately, it is after the return time limit so I'm stuck. Update: I was contacted by the seller and issued a refund. This is how things should be done. ... show more

  • Mostly works with some drawbacks
Size: YRR1.0
This roller provides your laser engraver with the ability to carve on cylindrical objects. I found that my existing engraver mount did not work with this engraver and the items I wanted to engrave and had to mount the engraver chassis on lifts. This may not be an issue depending on what you're cutting. Roller adjustment is a bit of a pain, but is usable. This would be a decent choice if you are regularly doing the same diameter objects, but I'd look elsewhere if you're switching diameters regularly. ... show more

i want a refund but after the first one burned up and the motor stop working i noticed that the body of the unit is burning up, i modded it with some holes and added a fan, to cool the motor and it is still not working, the belt is not over tight just enough to engage both rollers i am using the falcon laser setup that attaches to a 3d printer not impressed and since i modded it so if the vendor sees this and well honor a refund i would appreciate that this is not a product worth buying also my mod does not affect the operation of this unit or damage it in a way that cause a error edit: was still issued a refund but this unit is not worth it still IMO ... show more

Made adjustments in lightburn where indicated and still this unit is failing! Bad product! Stay away! And the customer service is even worse for providing effective resolution. • A superior product
Size: YRR1.0
I am comparing this Dewallie rotary roller to the Genmitsu rotary roller. 1. Both are built very sturdy. -> tie 2. The Genmitsu rollers are wider by 2 inches. (G =9in, D=7in) -> G wins 3. The Dewallie rollers are a wider diameter and have a better feel. -> D wins 4. The D rollers are adjusted with three tool-less thumb screws. The rollers then sit snugly in place while you tighten the screws. The G are adjusted by removing 4 screws with an Allen wrench and loosen the belt adjustment screw with the same wrench. Then you must align the roller with the screw holes and reassemble. -D definitely wins 5. The motor is enclosed in the D. Not in the G. - D wins 6. The D unit can be turned upside down so that long items (up to 53 inches) can be placed on the flat bottom and the unit will move the long item under the laser. This can't be done with the G unit because the roller mounts are proud of the rollers. - D wins 7. When using the G unit with a Genmitsu LE5040, I have to change the $101 value from 80 to 84, then back again when burning flat items. (using Lightburn). Nothing has to be changed with the D unit. -D wins 8. I sometimes burn items that are thinner at one end than the other. The D unit comes with small rollers that hold up the thin end that sticks out over the edge of the rollers. These are also helpful if your item is too long to stay on the rollers. G concedes this one. - D wins 9. Price for the D unit is currently $150. The G unit is currently $90. - G wins. 10. While testing the D unit, I found it was printing backwards. Then I discovered I had to turn the unit around so the tension screw was facing the back of the laser machine. Go figure. The G unit sits the way one would think. - G wins. 11. The D unit comes with three different connector cords for different lasers. If your laser makes the D unit chatter and work improperly or not at all, then use a different cord. The G unit has only one cord so may not work with your laser, though this is probably rare. - D barely wins. The Genmitsu unit is not a bad set of rollers, but has some limitations, mainly, the roller mounts are taller than the rollers and prevents rolling any object longer than 9 inches. If you're on a budget, this will give you good performance. However, if you can spring for another $60 the Dewallie is the superior unit. ... show more

  • Works great!!!
Size: YRR1.0
Love the ability to use my laser engraver to with cylinders!! This roller has worked great with my Atomstack P9 M50, and I couldn’t be happier! The instructions were easy enough to follow and I was up and running in no time! The rollers are automatically set when you adjust the width, so no need to futz around with any settings. The rollers themselves are nice and sticky, and work well to rotate whatever cylinder you have loaded up! I especially love how they work on glass, and rotate it effortlessly. The quality of this roller has been too notch, and everything has worked without fault. I feel like this is a very sturdy piece of equipment, and don’t feel as though it will ever break. Absolutely love this roller, and I’m so glad I ordered it!! Highly recommend! If anything changes I’ll come back and edit this post. ... show more

  • I wanted this to work!
Size: YRR1.0
Dewallie engraver is great..... rotary, not so much. Items not 100% square wobble off (even with the added support wheel). Have spent about 8hours trying to make it work. Love the laser, not the rotary!
