This was an exhaustive research project in deciding which gazebo to purchase (and assemble). In gathering data, reading umpteen reviews I did read that many times there are parts missing or damaged, or both. At times the directions are difficult to follow and end result is a gazebo that is shakey at best. So when I read all there was to read on the gazebo, it did not have solid wood beams which actually may have been a bad choice given the climate where I live. I also wanted a slightly bigger gazebo and color options. All minor stuff. The important factors seem to line up as the no-brainer purchase. First, it arrived on the exact day it said it would and all the boxes came together. In opening the boxes, each piece was individually and carefully wrapped in sponge wrap and each part easily marked for assembly. The parts were very nicely laid out individually and in heat sealed packaging. Not all thrown in ziplock bags. The directions included an inventory of the parts and pieces. I, myself, did not assemble this gazebo but you can bet I oversaw and supervised the whole process. The listing said that assembly takes 3-4 people over the course of 3 hours to complete. I had 2 guys. One who wanted to slap it all together then go back and tighten things down. The other guy took time to look over the directions first and followed them step by step. He is very capable which is why I often call on his help. Over all I'd say he had the half-cocked help of guy #2 for 2-3 hours. Otherwise one man (age 62) assembled this gazebo by himself for a total of approximately 10 hours. It went together very nicely, precise. The directions were easy to follow. The nuts, bolts, etc were pretty exact. It didn't allow for dropping / losing anything though. The biggest complaint was not including a bit with the same pattern as the screw heads. Only included two Allen style wrenches. The sheeting was very nicely crafted, heavy pieces and machined perfectly. Beautifully painted. Definitely NOT cheap corrugated sheet metal. There was only one piece that got slightly twisted during shipping & was easily straightened. The mosquito netting and curtains were the most impressive part of the whole gazebo. Each hangs on individual tracks on very easy to use hooks that slide smooth, stay in the track. The heavy duty material these drapes were made of was beyond class act. I can see that these drapes will live on for generations, long after the deck this gazebo sits on is old & rotted. I helped in hanging these, and being only 5'2" made it extremely difficult due to the heaviness of the material. But were much easier to hang for a man of over 6 foot. He also commented on the heavy duty materials in making the netting and drapes. I would guess that a large part of what you spend for this gazebo goes into the quality of those nets and drapes. Now the bad news....the kit was missing two pieces (identical piece used twice in corners of top roof). The sturdiness of the finished gazebo causes no worries that it will fare well in the winters under snow, rain and periodic winds. At the moment we only have one lag screw in each foot. There is a total of 3 holes at each corner. Point is...with just one at each corner, she's steady as she goes. I have no worries about getting the two pieces that were missing. For such a quality product, I'm confident they will want their highly crafted product to be complete and brag-worthy. I'd buy from these folks again should they decide to make such products in the future.

I was hesitant to purchase this and after I received it was looking to pay someone to set it up for me. However, my 60 year old self with just a little help from my 61 year old wife set it all up in a few hours spread over a weekend. It is crafted well and goes together quickly. It can be secured to a cement pad and provides shade from the hot sun and cover in the rain. I would greatly recommend this product if you are looking for and outdoor gazebo.

Was very concerned about assembly/install after reading reviews. It wasn’t terrible. It took a solid 18 hours over a few days to get completed by myself, with my wife helping hold some things in place while getting the main frame together. There were a few times I struggled to get the screw holes on two pieces to align, but I loosened up other screws around it, got it aligned, then tightened everything back up. Don’t go drilling out holes - just leave most screws a little loose until you have a section completed, then tighten everything up. The instructions are just like Lego instructions and I didn’t have any issues figuring them out, though a few steps needed an extra minute or two to make sure I had them right. A few pieces had some dents upon arrival, but nothing terrible. It rained lightly just after I finished install, and I didn’t see any leaks through the roof. The gutters seemed to work, but there is a seam at the middle of each beam and it was streaming out there. I might run a bead of silicone over that seam. Overall, I’m happy with it for the price. We’ll see how well it holds up over a few seasons. **2 month update** We had a series of severe storms come through the area, with 5 confirmed EF-1 tornadoes in the next county over. Multiple trees in our neighborhood were downed during the storm, including 1 at each of 2 neighbors’ houses. The gazebo was perfectly fine. At each corner post I have it lag bolted through our wooden decking into the frame of the deck, using 5/16” x 3 1/4” stainless lag bolts. **6 month update** Heavy Midwest winter has wrapped up and the gazebo held up great, even through periods of very heavy snow and ice accumulation.

Definitely takes time and you need to be organized but it’s worth it. The instructions were clear and easy to Follow. The end was absolutely perfect.
