This does the trick for traveling, having extra guests over or just a place to nap. Its better than air mattresses in some ways especially if you have older kids, different genders or anyone that does not want to share a bed. I have 3 of these.

These are so comfortable! Makes the cot life so much better! I could lay on this all day. Much prefer it to the couch. It folds up into the big (lightweight carrying case). Super soft to the touch. Provides great support.

Perhaps I overlooked this in the info and it’s useful to help keep the backrest orientation But I get concerned it may eventually scratch the floor and is very good to know before you jump on it folded up Nice and comfy. The soft fabric is nice change over other mats that have a more plastic-y feel

This mattress is a nice change for my outdoor adventures. It's comfortable and portable, and the memory foam gives great support. I may have been able to sleep comfortably on the ground as a kid, but now I need the extra support. The waterproof cover is a nice touch, and the bag makes it easy to carry around. I found this to be very comfortable. I could easily sleep on this every night. Though keep in mind, this does not pack down small like an air mattress. We took it camping only because had the extra room to pack it, normally we don't have extra space. I slept on it for 2 nights before my youngest son evicted me. After he laid on it and found out how comfortable it was, he moved his nest onto it. He's lucky he's so cute! The backrest feature works, but I can't see me using it for anything personally. My husband and I wanted this mostly for travel, and more mostly for placing in the back of our Prius when traveling, as that’s where we usually sleep. Otherwise, we figured it could provide extra options for guest bedding in our home, generally for children as an alternative to a basic sleeping bag or a blanket on the floor. Unfolded, my slim husband and my slim self can simultaneously fit on this cozy mattress and sleep relatively comfortably. Since two of these wouldn’t fit in the back of our Prius, this single one is a better option than what items we have struggled to sleep on back there in the past, such as cardboard boxes. If this were offered in dimensions extremely compatible with filling the back of our Prius, I would be extremely interested. So, this impressively lightweight unit arrives folded interestingly in its fairly large carrying case. Even though it’s on the large side and will require a good deal of dedicated storage space, the fact that everything packed up is so lightweight makes it extremely convenient for travel. The mattress is plenty easy to fold up when you’re done with it and pack back into its bag. The outer material of the mattress looks pretty and feels luxuriously soft. The not too soft or too firm mattress is extremely comfortable for my 115-pound body and my husband’s 155-pound body combined, offering ample support. Since the bottom has a grippy surface, it’s not prone to sliding every which way on hard floors or other hard surfaces, so any midnight sliding should just be blamed on ghosts. Overall, I’m completely satisfied with this delightful, portable mattress, and I’d love to see some compact car-sized ones on offer. ... show more

Well i can say animals love this portable foam mattress. unpacked it and was putting it down for it to fully inflate and poof dogs were on it and pretty much lived on it the rest of the day.. When i finally got to try it out, i found it to be on firmer side but, pretty comfortable for what it its. definitely beats an air mattress any day.. i got this to be able to use it during week in living room. i have to now wake up at 4ish AM, after not going to sleep till close to midnight, so that i can be in same room as our big dog who has not too long ago been diagnosed with epilepsy. we only have recliners in our living room and they are uncomfortable on my neck to nap on, so this portable mattress have worked out great when i can’t keep my eyes open.. love that i can easily pull it out and lay it down and love that i can also easily fold it back up in seconds to put away.. do recommend this one, think these would be also great for families with kiddos that have sleepovers and need something for guest. and apparently makes for a great doggie bed too. ... show more
