this light is BRIGHT and has several different light “color” options (warm vs cool) and the remote is a nice touch. might not really use it but it’s good to have i’d say. it’s so easy to set up and the instructions on the functions are simple to understand. super nice quality; the light feels just heavy enough and the clamp part that secures it to the desk is really nice and strong. I will say it does look a little goofy hanging over my desk because it’s a long light but any desk light if the same idea is going to look goofy I guess. overall worth the money, but we’ll see how it holds up over time

I don’t write reviews often and I, especially, don’t write them on the same day that I receive a product but…here I am…a mere 4 hours after I received this lamp… (Disclaimer: I will update this review if anything goes awry in the next month to a year.) This lamp is absolutely perfect for my needs. The quality of the product is superb. Providing you with multiple lighting options including a night light and a reading mode (which is the icing on the proverbial cake) you can rest assured there is a light for any purpose that you need. The gesture feature to turn the light off and on works effortlessly. Paired with the remote that you place on your desk/workspace it makes the functioning of this light super simple. The light has options for temperature settings which allows you to switch from a really bright light to a warm light. This is fantastic in helping prevent or alleviate eye strain. I know it will be a well used feature for me. The power cord to the light plugs in at the base of the lamp which makes it easy to include the majority of the cord in your under desk cable management and keeps one less cord from hanging down from the top of your desk. The light clamps onto the back of your desk or tabletop with plenty of room to cover even a desk with a support running underneath near the edge. I could continue to rave about this light but…you should really just try it for yourself and see if it is something that works for you. Thanks Amazlit for making such a great product!

This thing is really wide—I have a dual monitor set up and it nearly spreads across both of them. It’s nice that it’s so adjustable. I’m able to dim the light so it doesn’t interfere with my screens or brighten when I’m doing work or something on my desk. I will say, check that you have the right edge for the attachment piece. It’s my own fault, but I did have to rig it a little because my desk was thicker than I realized!

Positive: - Well packed. - Easy to assemble. - Easy to handle. - Good instruction manual. - Brightness can be customized just like the color temperature. - The mechanism for attaching to the table is solid. Negative. (it's true they didn't even promise these) - The gesture recognition LED is a bit confusing. - The remote control could be wired. (AAA battery is too old-fashioned.) - Need LED's on the remote control indicating the current brightness and color temperature. Overall, a perfect device that meets my expectations.

First off, I have a 43" monitor on an arm, elevated over my desk. I ordered this because it clearly states that it can accommodate up to 31.5" and my monitor's top is 30" off the desk. I thought it would fit perfectly. This lamp is only 31.5" tall if you have it straight up, with the light shining right in your face and the lamp well behind the monitor. I ordered this because it explicitly stated it was tall enough for me. I had to get creative and 3d print a plastic ring clamp to make a flat surface protrude from my monitor arm's post so that I had something high enough I could use for the lamp's clamp. Size issue aside, it is a fantastic lamp. I love the ambiance it and the control it gives me over the brightness,temperature, etc. The little remote is a great addition. The gesture on/off is really cool too.

I bought this product per a recommendation online and it far exceeded my expectations. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's exactly what I was looking for. The functionality and quality are great! I was slightly hesitant at first because I had not heard of the brand before and was worried it would be a cheap piece of junk, but I decided to give it a shot. Not only did this product meet all of my requirements, but it surpassed my expectations for quality, brightness, functionality, and overall utility. I wanted a light for my desk that didn't take up much desk space, had adjustable brightness/temperature, clamped directly to the desk (rather than the monitor), and didn't glare on my computer screens. I knew an LED bar would be the best option, but most products on the market didn't meet one of my requirements. This product is exactly what I wanted. It lights up my desk extremely well yet doesn't put a glare on my screen or shine in my eyes. I also like that the power cable plugs in at the base for a clean look. I highly recommend this product for any workspace! Only note for potential buyers: it does clamp to the edge of your desk; while it should support ample desk thickness for most users, just make sure you have enough of a ledge on the edge of your desk and that your desk isn't too thick or have too much bevel.
