This is easy to assemble and the tool you need is included. Overall it is sturdy. The cushion is not very thick and it is not ideal for sitting long hours at work. I tried to add an extra cushion and it helped a bit. If you need something fast and low cost and moderately comfortable, this could be a good option. Probably 3.5 stars. This chair is an overall good deal. The price was very reasonable, the chair is fairly comfortable, and it was easy to assemble. Unfortunately, it's not a "several hours, everyday" chair. It's just too small, and the padding, though not terrible, is too thin for hours of sitting at a time. If you need a desk chair for an hour here and there, and aren't too large, this will be fine, and the price is right. I did it while my husband made me a hotdog and without needing to refer to the instructions. It rolls easily, is very lightweight and adjusts to the height I need. It has a slipcover on the seat which will make cleaning it a snap. I'd recommend this chair to anyone looking for an inexpensive chair for their desk. Took about 10-15 mins to assemble. Came with a little wrench, so no extra tools needed. Basic enough but the instruction booklet was simple and came with no troubleshooting/ FAQ's section cause I couldn't figure out why the gas lift wasn't working. I had to sit on it, putting my weight on the chair caused the gas lift to engage and then it worked. Good for simple use, but not as an every day chair. It'll fall apart with time and also isn't super comfortable. The seat cushion is crap, so if you're using this chair long term or every day, you'll need a better one. It's just a basic foam pad that sinks into the hard plastic base of the chair. The wheels roll pretty well but they don't lock, so maybe not young child friendly. It works fine for what I need it for but is not for long term use. Get what you pay for ... show more
