I like the style but its bare bones light . It should be called a night light instead of a hall light . It takes a small base light that doesnt put out much usable light . And its kind of goofy the way the lens cover mounts but its over all it still somewhat nice looking

This is a nice light, but it didn't fit our intended space at the bottom of a stair case. The guts of this light were visible when walking down the stairs which made it unacceptable. But otherwise it is a nice light and can't beat the price. At 10 inches It is smaller that other flush mounted moon-shaped lights so would fit a small space. The glass has pretty veining which doesn't show in the product photo. The metal pieces add just the right touch of detail. We didn't install, so can't comment on ease of installation. Great fixture. Only negative is that the glass can be difficult to insert into frame once installed on the wall. Be extremely careful, the glass on one of the fixtures cracked with a hairline crack. This is a nice looking wall sconce for the price. However, you do get what you pay for on this one. I bought 15 of these, and several had design flaws. The main problem was the attachment bar was to long to install the glass globe with ease. We had to bend the bar tighter ourselves, so the globe could fit. One of the screw holes had the threads reversed, and two were delivered with broken globes. ... show more

The sconce looks nice, but I found that the supplied back plate that attaches to the junction box on the wall does not completely cover a standard 4" junction box--about a half inch of the top of the box is open behind the glass. I've installed a lot of lights over the years and never seen one that did not completely cover the junction box. I'd say this is a basic design flaw. You will also need to buy a candelabra bulb to fit in the light's socket--this is not mentioned in the specifications, and those bulbs are somewhat more expensive than standard 60 watt bulbs. I wouldn't have purchased this product had I known the junction box would be partially open at the top of the unit, but don't want to hassle with a return so will try and fabricate something to cover the hole. ... show more

I bought this for my wife's walk-in closet. The overhead light didn't get enough light to the back of the closet, so I parallel wired this light with the overhead and mounted it at the back wall of the closet, down the wall a bit so that it was close to where she wanted the light. I liked that the sconce is very similar in appearance to the existing overhead light, so that they look like companion fixtures. It works great, mounts easily, and was relatively inexpensive. I was a little bummed when I found that it uses a candelabra bulb instead of a standard bulb, but it still puts out plenty of light and accomplishes its purpose. ... show more
