I recently installed the DENFOON Motorized Blinds in my home office, and I’m thoroughly impressed! The 100% blackout feature is no joke—once they're down, the room goes completely dark, perfect for meetings, naps, or even movie nights. The remote control is responsive and easy to use. I can raise or lower the blinds with just a tap, and the motor is very quiet, which I love. Setup was fairly straightforward, and the customizable sizing made it easy to find a perfect fit for my window (23" W x 72" H).

A lot of the reviews seem AI generated, but I actually bought this thing and thought I’d share my experience . I chose these because it’s the cheapest smart blinds you can get. The old saying you get what you pay for comes to mind. As non smart blinds, this thing is pretty slick. Easy enough install, sturdy construction, arrived as advertised with all the hardware you need, even drywall anchors (bonus points for that). You can adjust the maximum high and minimal height the blinds extend to. They block out all light coming from my window. The RF remote feels cheap but works just fine. Instructions were clear enough, but could stand to be reviewed by a non-tech-savvy native English speaker. The solar panel is awesome and so far as heald up great, but the connector on it is rather thick, you should take this plugs thickness in mind when mounting the blinds as it needs about a 1/2inch of clearance. I ordered the 35” set, but ended up having to grind down about 1mm of plastic on both sides because it turns out my window was just slightly shorter than 35” and I really wanted that inner fitment. Ez enough with a rotary sander. My fault for not measuring the window to the 1/16 of an inch. My biggest issue with these is they claim to be smart. It’s not super clear from their posting, but in order to make them “smart” you need to buy their $35 adapter connects to your phone (Tuya app) then sends 443MHz RF to the blinds to mimic the remote. I did not want to buy that and used my existing BroadLink RM4 Pro I have for controlling IR/RF devices with HomeAssistant. I was able to learn the codes from the remote pretty easily and tie it into some basic automations. (So the blinds open when my wake up alarm goes off, it’s the best feeling ever!) . I keep saying “smart” because in my mind these are not truly smart. They have no state. I cannot check if the blinds are open or if they blinds are closed or what % open they are, I can only send “open” , “close”, and “stop” commands via RF. It still works for basic automations such as: “Close the blinds at sunset”, “Open the blinds when my alarm goes off”. If these things are possible with their little adapter I’ll buy it and update my review, but it doesn’t seems like it could be possible. In my mind these are dumb blinds that have a remote, and you can mimic the remote with HomeAssistant or a FlipperZero. If you don’t want to tie them into complex home automations and can live without state then these are the best remote controlled blinds you can buy for the price. Knowing what I know now and my goals of home automation via HomeAssistant, I probably would have spent the $150 for a set of ikeas zigbee blinds. I may still try to tear these apart and control them with an ESP32, or add some Halifax sensors to the top and bottom to be able to tell if they are open or closed. But for now I am happy with what I have

These blinds are great! They’re super affordable for our 6 big windows in our kitchen. They are easy to program for the length, and the ease of pressing a button is so helpful and time saving. They look nice when down, and disappear at the top when up. Great quality easy to put up highly recommend!

This was very difficult to install and poor quality. Once I got the brackets attached, I tried to install the shade and by just pushing the unit in to the bracket, the plastic on the unit ripped, not the shade, the "hard plastic" unit. I'm not up to taking the brackets down to return it all so I ended up tying the unit to the brackets with cord just to make it work. They are far too expensive for the poor quality but they do block light well and function quietly. I'm definitely disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. Below is my original review. One blind stopped working. All the troubleshooting hasn’t helped. I have sent an email to the company but haven’t heard back. I can’t believe how great these are! We have had them for a few months now. We have extremely high ceilings in our entry. We needed something that we could control remotely without breaking the bank. They are flawless. Solar power is working great even with limited sun. Some reviews showed creases but ours didn’t have any. Highly recommended!!!!

These are really great for lazy people like me who are trying to make the entire house smart. But I originally installed them in the nursery, and when putting the little one to sleep, the lowering motor seems louder than raising. They are great at blocking the sun, and temp regulations I prefer over the shutter style. I enjoyed the quality and functionality so much I'm moving them to another room.
