It looks like they have changed the product completely from what it was and it is quite different than the one I purchased. If I was shopping now I would have passed by this white squared-leg model shown now and not purchased that. Purchased for the offspring. These stairs are so sturdy and heavy duty, really great for climbing into upper bunks for rv. However, the package arrived with no padding or support, ups beats their packages around pretty good and the top was torn, so this is how it arrived. Bent and scraped. I couldn't find a way to tell the seller, maybe they will see the comments . Some buyers would send this back but we are just moving on, we expect damage. Pretty sad but overall a great set of steps!

Good light duty ladder. Excellent for changing lightbulbs and smoke detector batteries. Very compact when not in use, making it ideal for apartment use. I will admit the steps are not very wide and the ladder is deceivingly heavy. However, the ladder is pretty stable and far safer than standing on a chair. For the price, it is a decent ladder to have around.
