Strong Study Wide Step This 2 step stool is wide enough to stand without wobbling. The safety lock is a gravity swing lock so as you open to use it moves into place as to keep it from folding while you are on it. I had my +200lbs 6' 1" husband. use it all over the kitchen, emptying cabinets, moving shelves and just doing stuff on it. Then I repeated the process, I am 5' 7" over +200lbs. and was very comfortable on it no wobbling or feeling it would fall over. I could reach even the top cabinets with my vertically challenged self. But would say if you are under 5' 5" this would be too short. If you have ceiling cabinets which is what I just installed in my kitchen that's why I needed a step for the new Height. ... show more

Due to a hip implant and old knees, bought this to get into and out of a pickup box. Works fine for my application. As it is pretty lightweight, I would not use this item for handling heavy loads or objects.

its super easy to pack up / lay out to use, the only con is it feels wobbly. had it for 2 months and use it regularly because everything is so high up, haven't fallen once. so i'm going to keep using it! But would've wished it was more sturdy feeling when using it
