It has taken me the whole summer to finally set it up and realized the collar with the fence was rechargeable and this one was was not. Not happy but can't return item because it's too late. We have had the pet safe wireless system for 2 dogs for 20+ years. The first collars lasted ?18 y. The next maybe a year. Now this set we will see. We recently had to replace the main controller unit. Hoping for better durability this time

Was pretty unhappy with a product that only lasted 90 days before it quit working. Amazon only warranties for 30 days. BUT Called PetSafe directly. On the phone they did a diagnostic, sent a text I could reply with a picture of proof of purchase. They are shipping a replacement - THIS is how customer service should work.
