This was purchased from warehousedeals at a reasonable discount. I didn't realize it at the time, but it was missing the springs, seats, and screws. That's more a reflection on warehousedeals than it is on the actual product. The renovation kit is great. It seems to be good quality, and matches the oil rubbed bronze finish for the other fixtures in the bathroom. It's nice that Delta actually sells these, versus resorting to a third party manufacturer. ... show more

Wanted to replace the nasty and ubiquitous brass and "crystal" handle shower Delta 600 knob but didn't want to deal with replacing the valve in the wall. This made the job so easy! I'm so happy. While it is expensive for what it is...it's so much cheaper than any other option.

This was JUST what I was wanting. I wanted to replace my old Delta 600 series with the *fancy* hmm.. crystal knobs....with a more modern look. I looked at Lowe's and couldn't find anything that wasn't plastic! I even when to a specialty plumbing store and asked for a Delta dress set..she said it would be 3 weeks if they ordered me one, and the backplate would also be plastic. I should have gone to Amazon first!! I will tell you that this kit has everything you need including replacement inner hardware. The finish is awesome, matches the other oil rubbed bronze item I have purchased from Amazon and seems to be durable. Both the handle and backplate feel like solid metal. I am super happy with my purchase.     • Lost Half of my Water Pressure/Volume! No Good!

I want so bad to give this retrofit kit a better rating but I just can’t. Yes, it does look nice so it deserves one star for that, but everything else about it is a failure. Firstly, the EPA regulated garbage ball valve should be a crime to sell because of how much it limits water pressure. When I used this kit to replace the valves and retrofit my 1970s showers, I immediately noticed a loss of about half of the water pressure and volume that I had before. It takes at least twice as long to fill the bath tub now!!!! To add to it, one of the kits I purchased is already failing as the water has started dripping even though the faucet is turned off. The real unfortunate part is that these valves are proprietary so you can’t get a different brand and put in place unless you change to a different handle and faceplate again. Im really disappointed in these - other than looking nice, they aren’t worth the pot metal that they’re made of. Huge waste of time and money and it’s driven me away from using Delta products in the future. ... show more
