We got this in last night and i will admit i was hesitant about purchasing because the reviews aren’t great. But please buy it if you or your partner or someone you know knows how to properly assemble things together. My partner spent over an hour and half assembling it together and he followed the steps and assembled the dresser from the inside out as directed. There are alot of pieces and may be overwhelming, but that’s why you need to take your time on it. It is very sturdy and heavy and one thing i do like about the dresser is that you can’t open another drawer if one is already opened and you need to use both hands to open the drawer so it’s definitely heavy and would be hard for a kid to pull on the drawers or tip over.     • Stinky and hard to put together

*UPDATE* It has officially been over a month since we have put this dresser together and it STILL stinks!!! I can’t even put clothes or anything in it because it will all immediately smell like the chemicals in the dresser!! I have tried literally everything to get the smell out and I can not!! Do not buy this dresser!! Yes it’s well made but it doesn’t matter because I can’t even use it!! I’m so frustrated because my baby is going to be here in less than a month and I have nowhere to put his clothes! I’ll start off by saying this dresser is well made but it is so hard to put together! It took my fiancé a few hours to build it!! Also at first I was so frustrated because I couldn’t open some of the drawers but I didn’t know that it was a safety feature on the dresser to only be able to open one drawer at a time so if you’re frustrated and can’t get a drawer open double check that the other drawers are ALL the way shut. Also the dresser smells so bad we’ve been airing it out for a few weeks and it still stinks a little so expect to get it a while before you need it so it can air out. I like this piece of furniture . Very pretty and durable. Didn't take my son to long to put it together. Only drawers could use better quality as far as open and close it yiu have to move both nabs in same time.

This dresser, once put together, is beautiful and hardy. It’s very heavy. I had 2 people help me assemble and it took us over 2 hours. The instructions aren’t great- they told us to use 6 screws per drawer and only sent 12?? Lots of improvising with errors like this.. I think we had a couple instances where some screws went in crooked or wouldn’t screw all the way in. However, it still is sturdy and I feel like it’s made with decent quality for the price. Make sure you listen to the instructions when it says to only install one drawer at a times or you will screw up the locking mechanism making it a headache to figure out. I like the storage capacity of the drawers and the aesthetics, but I really wish it was easier to put together. ... show more

Love this dresser. Super good quality. There was some screws that weren't threaded right so I had to improvise which was a bummer and doesnt seem as solid in some spots as it could be, but I didnt want to return the whole thing Its Heavy!! The drawers are not soft close so watch your fingers they do get shut inside easily - prob not good for little fingers but we shall see. This is 100% worth the money and effort to put together. Drawers do not work. Misaligned and the drawers rub on the hardware because the box is too small for the width of the drawers. They also stick and will completely lock up because the child safety slides are cheaply made and break. I had to use a crowbar to get my kids clothes out of one of them. We bought 2 and they both have the exact same issues. Broken bearings as well. Amazon refuses to refund because they want us to break them both down and repackage into the box.
