  • Look for two packages
Like other reviews, this saw ships in TWO packages, I only received the boxed saw, the fence rails never made it, after some time on phone calls with Amazon and Delta. I had to order the rail from an online replacement part site and waited several weeks for the part. Amazon did credit the price. Great saw, worth the money. Be prepared to work for it. ... show more

  • Beware buying this from Amazon; may not contain all parts
I purchased on October 21st, and am still waiting for Amazon to deliver the entire order; they've tried twice and the fence rails which come in a separate box were missing both times which makes me believe there's a systemic issue. Despite the description which now says "PLEASE ACCEPT THE SHIPMENT AND CONTACT AMAZON. DO NOT RETURN THE ENTIRE UNIT BECAUSE OF A MISSING PART. WE WILL EXPIDITE THE DELIVERY OF ANY MISSING COMPONENT." I've been told there's no option except to wait for the unit to be back in stock, with no known date. I'm hoping to be able to avoid re-packing and shipping back the 200+lb saw body (I now regret opening it), but may have no choice. Besides that, the saw itself seems great, the parts I could put together went together easily, and the motor fired right up smoothly and quietly. Would love to actually cut some wood if I could get the rails. ... show more

  • Worth the wait
I had a slight delay issue (on time delivery but without rails). That was quickly resolved by Connor M from customer service and I had them 2 days later. Thanks Connor ! The table saw itself is easily put together and instructions were simple enough. It is very heavy with the cast iron wings but I was able to move it from upside down to right side up using a step down method from my workbench. After completion, I was able to tweak the fence and saw for extremely accurate cuts. Other than the minor delay, the only issue I have, is that I had to remove the fence guide in order to gain access to a screw I had missed. (Note to self: follow instructions completely). When I attached it back, a few screws felt as though they we stripped. I finely tightened them but feel like the could come loose over time unless I re-tap them or use self tapping screws if they come loose. Returning would bot be the optimal thing to do so I just dropped the rating to a 4 for all my troubles related to delivery (It was not Amazon) and the screws being stripped (I think). It is well worth the $$ I paid and will be well used and taken care of. Get you one ! ... show more

  • Just assembled it
I have seen a number of reports both here and on the Lowe's web site reporting missing rails and occasional confusion from the retailer thinking that the 752 saw was being delivered (thus only one package). In my case, everything arrived as expected and appears to be in good order. I have assembled it and am now sitting down to read the user manual. The table leveling instructions leave somewhat to be desired (the pictures are small, and the directions assume you know what you're doing). When I attached the wings to the table, I had a devil of a time getting it flush. Eventually, I: 1. assembled the right side cast iron and aluminum wing panels as instructed (lay them upside down on the table, bolt them together, flip them right-side up) 2. made sure the front rail was mounted in the proper position, with the table bolts tight 3. left the back rail loose, but attached 4. put 2 sawhorses under each wing 5. put 2 2x4's on the table (1 front, 1 back) 6. clamped the left panel to the 2x4's with 4 8" C clamps 7. clamped the table to the front 2x4 with 2 8" C clamps 8. clamped the right wing to the back 2x4 with 2 8" C clamps 9. leveled and tightened the left wing screws (both to the table and to the back rail) 10. repeated steps 6-9, with some modification, for the right wing It wasn't pretty, but was less frustration than trying to make 3 axes worth of adjustments 2 handed. Even with a helper (my wife, who gamely helps with anything), it was an adventure. ... show more

  • Hardware bags are mislabled
Be advised that the hardware bags were mislabeled on the saw on which I just took delivery. And the assembly instructions listed a bag that does not exist; hardware was found in a bag labeled different. Also, beware when putting the tube stand together: the single carriage bolt and lock nut that ties them together MUST have the lock nut on top. If place on the bottom, it easily can extend too far toward your work floor and render the saw unstable. Be prepared to spent plenty of time leveling the table surfaced after installation (definitely a two person job, given the weight of the two cast wings). And don't put your fence guide on until you have done so. That said, the leveling set screws help tremendously. Also, not sure what drunken sailor applied the blade angle guide on the front but it's totally out of whack and useless. As per usual, use other means to measure and lock in your angles. ... show more

  • Worst experience and support!!
As you can tell from the saw label and description, it ships in 2 boxes. My original saw showed up and I started assembling. After realizing and looking back, that I was missing the rail set, I called Amazon. Their answer was for me to box it all up and ship back since it was considered delivered! After 1.5hr of assembling. Their second solution was to have me order the saw again, take the rail set from it and return it. The 2nd saw showed up without the rail set! After arguing with Amazon again, their next solution was to issue me a partial credit and then gave me this part number to buy separately. I did and guess what, it's the wrong rail set!! And don't even try to contact Delta. The young lady at Delta politely informed me I would need to talk to Amazon! This has been a 3 month ordeal. Some of that is my fault. I wait until a weekend I have time to work on it instead of tackling it when it shows up. My fault. But the rest... Amazon and Delta will never get an order from me for any serious equipment again!! Awful ... show more
