Ok so I’m big on reading reviews before I buy something, however I also know there are a lot of fake ones so when I buy something I like to give as honest of a review as I can. So my room is about 5-10 degrees hotter than the rest of my house and I’m heat intolerant. So when I got this I was worried because I saw some ppl complain it didn’t cool very much if at all and let’s face it this is a lot of money for a maybe lol. That being said I am so glad I got it! Now it is important to follow the install directions! It’s important to keep the hose as straight n near the window you’re venting out of as possible! Plus I found it very helpful to add weatherization tape to the area around the vent tube and window. But my room is now very nice! It’s at the perfect temp for me which is 70-72. It turns on and off as soon as the room is at the right temp which is great for saving on my electric bill. Even if my door is open to the rest of the house this unit does fantastic and I highly recommend it and it has a sleep mode which cuts the unit noise in half. The unit is not very loud to begin with honestly my floor fan is louder lol oh and I maximize the efficiency of this unit by using a cheap little rotating floor fan to circulate the cold air. It’s fairly easy to install and I spent the first full day and night in comfort

Pros: set up easy blows really cold air not super loud, normal fan sounds functions all work great air quality feels great, my house doesn't feel weighty anymore. cons: the tubing is super thick and large, which is good in some since but takes up a lot of space. need about 19 inches of clearance to do the recommended straight tubing and not curving it. that doesnt fit in my shoe box house. the curved tubing is working fine for us the installation does not have a built in hole for the water drainage so will have to take off of the window to drain. app is hard to set up

I would give it negative stars. This this is LOUD. The piping to the window is flimsy and cheap. Disconnected when trying to put together. If you live by an airport it might be useful. Or something that is that loud. My watch alerted me to say it would cause hearing damage. Can’t return it because it fell forward when I was adjusting the hose, breaking the front pieces off. Waste of money and time. No idea if it functions well because it’s too loud to want it on for more than 5 minutes.

I ordered for the heat wave in 2025 bc my house AC unit was on the fritz. It was the quickest delivery (next day) available at this lower price point (under $300 with coupon) including local curbside options so I took a chance despite the mixed reviews. I do not regret it. It came promptly midday next day while the temps were at 99 degrees. I set it up that evening. It was easy to unbox alone. The unit is heavy but I carried it up the stairs by myself (female, over 55, 5’, 1”, not fit). The handles on the unit sides made this easier to lift and move. The install of the window venting tube was the most challenging aspect of the setup process. I have regular double hung windows but the flaps provided don’t seem to fit well but I carried on. It is not a sealed fit in the window. The only negative besides that was the directions manual has excessively small font for my eyesight and was difficult to read. After setup (about 15-20 minutes) I plugged in and the unit worked great! I have to admit I was nervous because of some reviews. The controls and the remote were easy to use. It cooled my upstairs 15x17 bedroom rather quickly. I then moved the unit to my son’s 10x9 room and it cooled down effectively. Lastly I moved it to my other son’s room 9x8 and it performed perfectly. The only difficulty with moving the unit from room to room was the exhaust tube window setup. That was frustrating to remove and reinstall each time because the exhaust tube kept detaching from the unit at the base connection when I re installed it after each move. It took several attempts to reattach it each time. The noise level is not an issue at all. It is like a fan hum not obtrusive to the ear. The unit is not ugly or anything, it is just not something you can neatly push against a wall while in use. It will always stick out (requires a 19 in. clearance) and the tubing will be always angling awkwardly out the window. It is what it is. There is a wifi and Alexa option with this unit. I was not able to pair the unit with my device on my first attempt. I will try later because you have to turn it off to pair and I have not turned it off yet since my last attempt. The unit has been consistently on cool setting at 69 degrees for a steady 10 hours with no issues. I am extremely happy so far with the one exception of the hose popping out of the unit connector after each move. Sometimes when you turn the unit for a better angle it pops right out. But once the unit is in one spot and untouched, it is fine. Once my AC is repaired I intend to use this unit as a dehumidifier. And to cool my garage to use it as an exercise studio. I also like that I can bring it places like to a camper, or cabin. If needed. The only requirement is it has to be plugged to a three prong outlet and not on a extension cord or surge protector. Ultimately, this was a good purchase. I am glad I took the chance.

This is my first portable AC and I love it. I got it in the middle of a heat wave (three days of 90+ degrees) and it handled it without a whimper. It is relatively quiet and looks well-made. It cools a 20x20 room without a problem. If there was anything bad, it was that the manual wasn't thorough enough in explaining that the sealing board needed to be cut for some size windows. I also took the time to cut out a small hole in the sealing board so I could feed the drain hose through, so the continuous condensation could drain out the window. It would have been nice if they had precut such a hole.
