I just purchased these shoes and first thing I noticed was that the quality isn’t that great. The placement and the angle of the “tongue” and laces are not the same on both shoes. My left shoe looks to be correct. But no matter how I tie or tighten/loosen my laces, the tongue on my right shoe seems to be slightly inward. Just looks weird to not have my shoes symmetrical. I kept them bc I don’t feel like sending them back and waiting for new ones. They seem somewhat cheaply made, but I guess I’ll find out when I wear them. These are very comfortable. I do have some complaints though. First, the shoelaces suck. They are too short and they keep untying themselves because the material used on them is super soft. It’s a super hassle to keep having to re-tie my shoes every 5-10 mins. Second, the shoes are very sturdy around the ankles which is great but at the same time not so great for a shoe advertised as a pull on type of shoe. It’s just really difficult to pull on. Third, the loop on the back of the shoe is very very small so it’s difficult to slip my average/small finger through to pull the shoe onto my feet. When I get my finger through and start pulling, it causes a bit of strain because i have to pull really hard and the pressure is put on my finger joint because the loop doesn’t allow much of my finger to pass through. It’s hard to explain without showing. I wouldn’t be surprised if other customers are having a similar issue. And last, I expected a soft foam type of insole because of what the insole has written on it. When I received and felt the insole, it was not soft foam. It’s very hard with a little give and it’s on the thin side. I replaced it with an insole that I planned to use anyways that are nicer for my high arches. These are a great color and for the most part fit well. I wear a thinner sock to allow a bit more room. Since I have been wearing them a lot, they have stretched some, but in a good way. I like the comfort of being able to wear them all day. I recommend them for anyone that walks a lot.

I got these specifically for Disney World. My feet usually hurt after walking around for long periods of time. I wore these for four days in a row and we were usually out from 8am to 8-9pm. My feet didn't start hurting until the end of our trip and it wasn't due to these shoes, just my own feet. I'm very happy with these. They're comfy and I got compliments on them. Finally a shoe that fits me. I love New Balance. NB design and comfort is great. I tried another brand to switch out. It felt like I was walking on wood. NB is easy to put on and off. Bottom part is not very soft compared to my previous NB. But I don’t walk too much as I used to before. So it’s ok. If you don’t walk for many miles, it’s great sneakers. I got size 81/2. New Balance use to be my go to shoe. They seem to be a little more cheaply made than usual. I should have sent back to get a half size bigger. They ran a little small. For the price I paid I will keep and wear some. Just not my favorite.

I usually do not write reviews, but these New Balance sneakers are amazing. I have searched for the right pair of sneakers for a while. I have flat feet and my back sometimes go out of alinement when walking for any length of time. Since I purchased these sneakers in June, I am able to work out more on my treadmill and go for long walks without discomfort. I do not need to add any additional arch support. I normally wear size 10 or 10.5 depending on the make of the sneaker. This is the first time I ordered a size 10.5 wide for the room, and it is working for me. Enjoy ... show more

I love these New Balance shoes. This is my second pair. They fit well, are supportive, and comfortable for my wide feet with bunions. Unfortunately, this is last year's design and a new version has been released by New Balance that is completely different. I tried the new version and sent them back.
