Cooled my hot RV from 84° to 77° in 3.5 min! Easy to set up. Instructions come in a big beautiful handbook all in English & easy to read & clear to understand. Super simple. I ran a 14 guage extension cord under & out my slide directly to the power box. I learned my lesson about plugging Heavy duty appliances into rv outlets. Took 2 min to do. Vent tube is large maybe 6" in diameter & blocks one side of my dinette seat that I dont use. The window inserts are too big for my little rv window so I'm going to have to make some adjustments but for now I literally just used the tape from the device to hold a folded a thick neoprene desk mat in place. Lol I was desperate to try this out & the neoprene desk mat is better at keeping the heat out than the plastic pieces it comes with so i think I might buy another one and cut the hole instead of trying to measure a hard board & have to ask a hardware store to cut it for me, then add foam around the edges. Neoprene will eliminate the need for added foam around the edges & i can cut it myself at home without a saw or any help. This unit is powerful & ice cold! It's beautiful too. Very nice looking. Heavy but not too heavy that i couldnt get it up the rv steps. The wheels are very smooth wheels so moving back & forth over the edge of the carpet to the tile is easy. I like that it has a dehumidifier built in & does not use evaporative cooling. Not a swamp cooler no adding water or ice packs! A light will go on when I need to drain the pan thankfully. The app had only a 2.4 star review surprisingly but that's not the most important thing to me. Im happy the price was right with the $50 off coupon. Came to $244 after tax. Cheaper & better than fixing my rv roof unit & because its inside not baking in the sun I think much more effective. So far im very happy with it!! :-))

Ok so I’m big on reading reviews before I buy something, however I also know there are a lot of fake ones so when I buy something I like to give as honest of a review as I can. So my room is about 5-10 degrees hotter than the rest of my house and I’m heat intolerant. So when I got this I was worried because I saw some ppl complain it didn’t cool very much if at all and let’s face it this is a lot of money for a maybe lol. That being said I am so glad I got it! Now it is important to follow the install directions! It’s important to keep the hose as straight n near the window you’re venting out of as possible! Plus I found it very helpful to add weatherization tape to the area around the vent tube and window. But my room is now very nice! It’s at the perfect temp for me which is 70-72. It turns on and off as soon as the room is at the right temp which is great for saving on my electric bill. Even if my door is open to the rest of the house this unit does fantastic and I highly recommend it and it has a sleep mode which cuts the unit noise in half. The unit is not very loud to begin with honestly my floor fan is louder lol oh and I maximize the efficiency of this unit by using a cheap little rotating floor fan to circulate the cold air. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT It conveniently started leaking from the bottom right after the 1 year warranty expired. Its from date of purchase, not date of arrival even though shipping took awhile. I reached out to the seller and they won't even troubleshoot the problem with me. I live in an area where I used the unit for 4, maybe 5 months last summer, and only about 6 weeks this summer before leaking out the front left corner. I regularly maintained the unit according to the manual and winterized it. 5-6 months of use is not worth the price point for this unit. The Bluetooth feature never worked for me either.

I ordered for the heat wave in 2025 bc my house AC unit was on the fritz. It was the quickest delivery (next day) available at this lower price point (under $300 with coupon) including local curbside options so I took a chance despite the mixed reviews. I do not regret it. It came promptly midday next day while the temps were at 99 degrees. I set it up that evening. It was easy to unbox alone. The unit is heavy but I carried it up the stairs by myself (female, over 55, 5’, 1”, not fit). The handles on the unit sides made this easier to lift and move. The install of the window venting tube was the most challenging aspect of the setup process. I have regular double hung windows but the flaps provided don’t seem to fit well but I carried on. It is not a sealed fit in the window. The only negative besides that was the directions manual has excessively small font for my eyesight and was difficult to read. After setup (about 15-20 minutes) I plugged in and the unit worked great! I have to admit I was nervous because of some reviews. The controls and the remote were easy to use. It cooled my upstairs 15x17 bedroom rather quickly. I then moved the unit to my son’s 10x9 room and it cooled down effectively. Lastly I moved it to my other son’s room 9x8 and it performed perfectly. The only difficulty with moving the unit from room to room was the exhaust tube window setup. That was frustrating to remove and reinstall each time because the exhaust tube kept detaching from the unit at the base connection when I re installed it after each move. It took several attempts to reattach it each time. The noise level is not an issue at all. It is like a fan hum not obtrusive to the ear. The unit is not ugly or anything, it is just not something you can neatly push against a wall while in use. It will always stick out (requires a 19 in. clearance) and the tubing will be always angling awkwardly out the window. It is what it is. There is a wifi and Alexa option with this unit. I was not able to pair the unit with my device on my first attempt. I will try later because you have to turn it off to pair and I have not turned it off yet since my last attempt. The unit has been consistently on cool setting at 69 degrees for a steady 10 hours with no issues. I am extremely happy so far with the one exception of the hose popping out of the unit connector after each move. Sometimes when you turn the unit for a better angle it pops right out. But once the unit is in one spot and untouched, it is fine. Once my AC is repaired I intend to use this unit as a dehumidifier. And to cool my garage to use it as an exercise studio. I also like that I can bring it places like to a camper, or cabin. If needed. The only requirement is it has to be plugged to a three prong outlet and not on a extension cord or surge protector. Ultimately, this was a good purchase. I am glad I took the chance.
