So far so good! This is an amazing product and have had not issues with it. Works like it’s supposed to. My elderly parents live in a very rural area and this has been such a luxury and life saver. Before they only had a wood stove and space heaters, neither are very safe for them anymore bus to unsteadiness on feet. This keeps the house at an even temperature and we don’t have to worry about bringing wood in, falling into a hot stove or leaving a heater on too long or being too close to something flammable. I installed the DELLA Econo Series 23000 BTU mini split in my shop/home space because I needed real cooling and heat without ripping out walls or dealing with big ductwork, and here’s how it actually worked out for me. Right out of the box, the unit feels solid and purposeful — nothing light or flimsy. The 23000 BTU capacity is noticeable in a space up to around 1500 sq. ft.; it pulls heat or humidity down quickly even on hotter days, and in heat pump mode it actually pushes warm air that feels comfortable instead of just lukewarm like some cheaper systems I’ve used before. Installation wasn’t stupid-simple — mini splits always have some work involved — but the included 16.4-ft installation kit makes it a lot easier if you’re doing it yourself. I mounted the indoor head, drilled the hole, ran the lines, and the outdoor unit mounted up cleanly with the bracket. Running the wiring and refrigerant lines takes some patience, but the kit had more than enough length for a typical install. Once up and running, the system is pretty quiet. The indoor unit hums in the background — nothing that interferes with watching TV or working in the space — and the outdoor compressor isn’t obnoxious either. In cooling mode it drops the temp fast and keeps the room stable without constant cycling. I like that it has Wi-Fi control and Alexa compatibility. Being able to check temps or change modes from my phone before I walk in is handy, especially when weather changes midday. The app control isn’t super flashy, but it gets the job done and responds quickly. The heat pump works well down into chilly temps — not like a dedicated furnace, but good for late fall and early spring when I just need a little boost instead of running a space heater all night. A couple things worth noting from my experience: • Getting the lines and electrical right means paying attention to detail — this isn’t a plug-and-play window unit. • If your wall is thick or your install location is tight, you might end up trimming the install kit ends a bit, but the length was generous for my application. Overall, for the price and performance, this DELLA 23000 BTU mini split has been a solid upgrade. It cools big spaces efficiently, heats comfortably, and the smart controls add real convenience without being gimmicky. This isn't a project for beginners. If you are pretty handy & mechanically incline, watch several YouTube videos and you may want to give it a try. I recommend using a micron gauge, valve core removal tool, and vacuum pump. I also used a torque wrench. I had to get a flairing tool, because I had a Issue with a flair pulling out. A year later, it works fine, but I have to reset it from time to time, maybe because it sits for long times without use. I use it in a detached garage for occasional heat and cooling. The fan is nice too. Hint: the better the installation, the longer it will last. Pull a deep vacuum and best of luck! ... show more

Installed today. I'm a dyi person with a lot of years of refrigeration experience. Unit seems to be of good quality, outside condenser very quiet. I am running on turbo mode inside to pull temperature down but im sure it will be quiet on other modes. line set was nice and fittings mated well, vacum pumped it down and held very well. the only negative thing i would say is the line coming off the unit will flatten quickly when bending so just take you time and bend it a little at a time. Unit seems to be doing a great job. installation and instructions were clear, not like the last one i installed 2 months ago that was an aciq brand from hvac direct. instructions were not clear, ( luckily i have knowledge in electrical and figured it out), compressor was getting loud and not keeping up cooling. After arguing with customer service for a week and initiating all conversations, they finally agreed to give me 70% of my money back. I will try to update this review later. 11000 btu 110v DIY install. Unit arrived in 2 boxes. Both arrived at the same time. Wired to 110/120v 20A industrial outlet and plug with the plug on a 20A breaker. Instructions could be better. Doesn't have a template for installing the inside unit so you will have to measure. Use a 2.5in bit for the hole in the wall. The pipe they supply to go in the wall hole will be too small if you use the suggested 70mm bit. Doesn't suggest a wire awg. Used 10/2 wire for power. Not enough insulation tape to wrap all 16 feet of line unless u use the tape very very sparingly. Flairs on the refrigerant lines are fine. Used Nylog Blue to help with the seal. Lines vac pumped fine. No leaks. Condenser was pre charged with 200lbs of refrigerant. Condenser is not that big and also very quiet. WiFi seems to work fine. Fan blows strong from the inside unit. Air blows cold when on cooling mode. Unit drains fine. So far no pump needed with this unit to help drain the water. Seems to be a decent value for the money. Install is rather easy if you are a little handy. Can be done in a day. ... show more
