I'm not a gamer so, I can't rate that but, I am a developer and it's powerful enough for what I do in that area plus just everyday stuff. It's easy to use and I love the touchscreen feature. I will never go back. I was contemplating a laptop with a DVD option but, it would have greatly reduced my options and made the laptop thicker so, I opted to skip that option within the laptop and bought a Dell USB Slim DVD Drive and that works just great especially since who uses a DVD player/recorder that often any more. So, these 2 are what I got and they are both great...use them often everyday since I'm in an intensive training program right now. So, I am using the laptop extensively and DVD less so. OK so this is my first Amazon purchase, and as an online student, I must admit that I am quite satisfied with the overall purchase and efficient service delivered. Firstly, it was so easy to setup and there were no issues whatsoever in switching from S-mode to Windows 10. The touchscreen was absolutely responsive, the screen display is superb, the keyboard has a great touch to it, great storage and the speed is very good as compared to my old laptop. The battery lasted for about 3 1/2 hours when I first got it, though I wish it could last a bit longer. The overall shopping experience was great and the product itself was definitely a great buy. I have known for a while now that Dell develops durable computers, and this laptop is not the exception to the rule! It might be too much if you only use it for streaming, storing photos and a few documents here and there. However, with how the world is changing and we need to spend more time using this devices, I am telling you that this laptop is what you need: great value, lightweight, touch screen works perfectly and a good ram memory that allows programs to run smoothly ... show more

It's a pretty decent laptop for minor things like using the internet or media or typing. Definitely not fit for a gaming laptop as the drive is filled with computer files and system data. On the downside, after a month of having this laptop the audio jack and microphone are now having issues picking up your voice. Can't use messenger anymore on here. Sometimes the touchscreen is a bit glitchy at times as well as the touchpad. Was happy with it at first but for almost 500$ (which is close to what I paid for) I'm highly upset at the issues I'm having, if my warranty doesn't fix this I'm wanting a refund. ... show more

We bought this for a student who is using it for remote tutoring. The tutoring system requires use of Chrome so we were concerned about the conversion from S-1 to Windows 10, but it worked seemlessly and we saw no performance issues thereafter. Had to use service tag to discover compatble locks and Nobles advised that this is compatible with: for the info! I really love this machine, the touch screen the numbers keyboard! And it's actually very fast. It's a big change after my old HP which was great but was already 5 years old.. The machine did come in -s mode but nothing relevant. As soon as I tried to download office it asked me if I wanted to go out of -s mode and I clicked yes and that was it.. Up and running. This product is built to fail quick. I bought Dell because I read they were reliable and could be quickly repaired. Not my experience. They want you to mail in laptop for 2 weeks and pay hundreds in labor. Likely my last Dell purchase if not resolved quickly
