Works perfectly. I got it for my daughter for her birthday. She loves it. We had to switch the VGA cables for an HDMI cable because the VGA cable didn't work. But no big deal since we have hundreds of HDMI cables around our house. Easy to set up.

    • Worked good at first: Died within 6 months :( customer service is bad too.
The goodish: At first I really liked this computer, I got it for some at home work and gaming (Minecraft & Valorant). It was great for work. Minecraft lagged badly in Java but once I switched to the windows/bedrock version it played smoother. Valorant seemed to play good but I don’t have great internet so it’s hard to tell & the PC would occasionally crash mid game leading to afk offenses. One thing to note is that the monitor it came with was a wall monitor, I knew there was variations to what monitor you could get but there was no info about it possibly being a wall monitor. It was actually kind of nice for me but if you live in a place that can’t have a wall monitor keep in mind it’s possible for it to come with one that only works on the wall. The very bad: As mentioned before it would occasionally crash completely powering down but it would always boot back up and work fine after. About 6 months after I got it the pc crashed mid use, I went to turn it back on and it popped up with a screen saying the PC needed to be recovered with a special disk. I looked up the error code and saw that sometimes that is caused by a usb or power cord not being properly connected and to unplug all cords and check their connection. I did this and In doing this found that the power cord (sent with the computer originally) had melted. For background I only use the computer 4-6 hours at max in a day and had only had the computer on for about an hour when this happened so if I was using this full time for work instead of just occasional projects I don’t know how this pc would have held up. I reached out to the pc seller and after about a week of trying to get in contact (calling and them never picking up or calling me back, them insisting on calling me and then not) they told me to simply pick up a new standard 3 prong power cord. I was obviously worried that there was a bigger issue that would lead to the pc melting a cord but did what they said. They didn’t tell me any other details like what voltage requirements it needed so I looked around and got one that matched the voltage that most on the market are, that didn’t work. I looked at the original cord and it had a different requirement and after scouring the web found one that matched it and tried it however that didn’t work either with the computer only having a flashing orange power light/nothing on screen/and the fan running loud. I then reached out to the seller again and told them this and they said to take it to a local computer repair person because my warranty had ended. Luckily I had gotten the extra asurion protection plan. I called their tech support and they told me that this usually means that the power supply unit has failed and I would need to file a claim to get a refund. I’m glad I got the protection plan but this means packing up a pc, monitor, keyboard, and mouse and shipping it to asurion in order to get an Amazon gift card refund. Bottom line I’m in shock that in only 6 months of owning this pc the power supply unit failed and on top of that the customer support was incredibly lacking once I did experience issues. ... show more

    • Was a very easy set up.
My mom is electronicly stupid. she is very smart womon but eletronmics blow her mind. ON and off, anything else is beyond her. So when i got this Optiplex she was able to fall right in to how things work. Pros: Very easy set up right out of box. A verygood size moniter with clear pic. and Price was fantastic. Cons: keyboard i tossed and mouse tossed. aover all great unit and i have already to some other gamers about it. ... show more

    • Overall good so far considering the low price.
It runs well considering it only cost $230 but, my right speaker does not work and the light on top does not change colors. Maybe I connected it wrong but I just think it came broken. The Pc however seems to be running fine for the first day I have it. I don’t plan on playing video games on it like “R6 or Fortnite.” Bc I don’t think it could handle those games but for work purposes for school so far it has done its part quite well. Again I paid $230. Considering the price I say this is a win. But, it has only been 1 day so things could change. Finally thoughts. If you want something to do your school work on I think this is good considering it’s not too expensive and is not extremely slow(sometimes slow) but it does it’s job. However if you’re looking for something to actually play video games on I recommend putting down at least $1000 on something specific built for that suit. However overall I am happy with this product and hope anyone else who buys it will too. Thank You. :) ... show more

I loved how easy it was to set everything up super convenient. Only thing I'm concerned about is no way to lock the monitor onto the stand there were no screws it said to slide it on but if you poke it at all (I have cats so they'll brush up against it) and it'll easily fall over. The company sent me a defective monitor so I tried to reach out to customer service. They told me I had to return whole set of items to get the monitor replaced! I had been working on the computer and was forced to buy a new screen. Then they have the audacity to tell me to send back the tower? Just buy the items separately and save yourself the headache. The monitor was cheap as heck anyway just like the wired keyboard and mouse. Thanks Amazon and product seller for a terrible experience. Everyone be aware! I guess this going be shot up next chance I get. That is all it's good for, target practice ... show more

I bought this as a second computer, mostly to play retro games on. So far, it's done well handling everything. I can't get the RGB to work and the hard drive is very, very loud, but I really can't complain much due to the total cost being so low.
