Let's just say first off, THIS IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE MATTRESS I'VE EVER OWNED!!! I was a bit skeptical at mattress-in-a-box options as I've been conditioned to believe the best mattresses are sold in stores. After a lot of research, and being forced to do my shopping online (COVID), I'm happy I took the plunge. After doing a lot of research online, I kept finding that Tuft & Needle had arguably the best reviews in the mattress game. After MORE research I found out that they were the first company to actually start the mattress-in-a-box trend, so that gave me confidence in the product itself. My price range at first started out at lower priced options, but as I began to shop I realized the things I absolutely needed - comfort, longevity, and quality. Were going to come at a higher price point. Knowing this, I started to look at the T&N Original as it had a TON of reviews. That got me into the brand and I absolutely fell in love with their messaging and simplicity, straight to the point and a great return policy to back it. If I didn't like it I could return it in 100-days... What's the worst that can happen?? I was actually looking at buying the Mint on their own website since it met all my required specs, but once I saw it on Amazon I pulled the trigger. Pros: - It is very SOFT but also firm if that makes sense, it's soft to the touch when you lay on it and it feels as though your body is molded to the mattress. With that being said, you don't feel like you're sinking into it, but rather very firmly held in your little cocoon. - I typically sleep on my side and back throughout the night, and on other mattresses this has been a problem for me. NOT AT ALL with the Mint. It's been amazing for the last 3 weeks I've owned it. - Someone else in the bed? No problem, my girlfriend can move all she wants throughout the night and I won't feel a thing. I typically consider myself a light sleeper, so this is a HUGE plus here -To add on the above note, you can sleep all the way to the edge of the bed and still feel ample support from the mattress. Never felt like I was "going to fall off the edge" like some reviews have read for foam based mattresses -Quality, the quality of the mattress is unlike any other, its a dark gray and the material is very sturdy feeling. Definitely feel like this will last 10+ years Cons: - Mattress is a bit large, so it didn't fit my bed frame. This is more so my fault, since I didn't really look exactly at the specifications, just make sure that you have a matching bed frame, or just stick with a metal base frame. Shipping: -I noticed that it wasn't Prime eligible when I purchased the mattress, but when I researched the seller I found that it was shipped and sold by Tuft & Needle so I was confident with my purchase. It said it would take 7-10 days to ship, but I got mine in 2 DAYS! All in all, this is a phenomenal mattress and I'm happy with my purchase. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this mattress! This is a very comfortable and supportive mattress. We had a Brentwood Home Cypress Mattress before in a smaller size and loved it but they don't make it anymore. There is basically no motion transfer, so one person moving does not wake the other person up. We let it decompress in a spare room for a day or two before sleeping on it. It did not have any residual smells and did not set off our Air Doctor. Also, it was a manageable weight for two people when moving. We tried the Avocado Green Hybrid pillow top and were not comfortable on that at all. I absolutely love this mattress!! My shoulders quit hurting, my hips quit hurting, I stopped tossing and turning. It's only been 4 nights and I am sleeping wonderfully. My only complaint is it took 3 weeks to get it. If you are in the market for a new mattress, this is it! The mattress expanded to almost full size within a couple of hours. Certainly good enough to sleep on. It seems much softer than my prior conventional coil spring mattress but there is even pressure and support support for my back. I'm definitely sleeping better. My only complaint which is the same as some others is that the mattress retains heat. I end up throwing off covers after an hour. They claim to have carbon fibers that keep it cool.     • Plush AND Supportive???
After losing some weight, (from about 250lbs to 200lbs) my old, firm memory foam mattress had me waking up with moderate to severe hip pain every morning. I was nervous about spending this much on a mattress in a box, but was pretty impressed by what I read about it, both from users and on Consumer Reports. Finally, after about a month of debating, I took the plunge and ordered. On arrival, I opened it up on the floor and let it set up for a little over 24 hours before sleeping in it. I'd read some reports of odors when the mattress was just opened, but detected none whatsoever, myself. One week in, I feel comfortable saying that this mattress is worth every penny I paid for it. Sleeping on my side or my back, I sink in just enough, but still feel well supported and it does stay cool just like they claim. No regrets here. ... show more

Amazing! I struggled with back pain every morning until we started sleeping on this awesome mattress. The king is amazing for my husband and I. I'm 5'11" and he is 6'1". I haven't had a single back issue since we started sleeping on it a week ago. The mattress is firm yet molds to your body. I run pretty hot since having kids. This bed has kept me cool every night since we got it. The only negative I can see is that this thing will be a bear to move if we relocate. Otherwise, it's just amazing and worth every penny.     • Buying a mattress will keep you up at night
After doing what you are doing right now - reading the reviews for every mattress, weighing the huge cost variation between $200 and $900, looking at return policies, and searching for first-hand experiences until they all run together - I threw my hands up and ordered this mattress. It was the right choice. It arrived quickly, was easy to open, puffed up immediately, and is oh so comfortable. We bought it in a queen size for my 6'3", 210 lb stepson's bed. He slept on it for the last several nights and loves it. My equally large husband also loves it, as do I. It is the right mix of soft and firm, it doesn't get stuffy, it didn't smell weird, and it was easy to fit with normal sheets.
