Overall, I am very happy with my Dell XPS 13 9300. The trackpad and touchscreen have excellent sensitivity, the webcam and keyboard are of much higher quality than my previous laptop (admittedly, a much cheaper Lenovo Ideapad) and the screen resolution and color reproduction, while not world-beating, are more than adequate for all but artists and graphic designers. Having 16gb of RAM has made a huge difference in running multiple browser tabs. As a middle school teacher working remotely, I need at least 20 tabs running simultaneously to teach a class online, several with videos queued up. Gone are the awkward delays and freeze-ups that would sometimes plague my previous 8gb machine. I should certainly mention that my XPS 13 stopped working entirely after 8 days - so why the four-star review? I couldn't have been more impressed with both Dell and Amazon customer service; the prompt return calls, careful attention, allowing me plenty of options (repair or replacement) and ultimately replacing my laptop the very next day. It's a fact of life that complex machines can break; it's what happens after that in my opinion is most important. So, why not five stars? This new computer comes with the latest version of Windows 10, which is far more intrusive than I've experienced before. For example, there is no way to stop Cortana spying on you, disengaging Skype has become much harder, and installing the latest Dell drivers was made more challenging, in part because of changes to Windows firewall and bios. Specifically, it took almost two days of troubleshooting to diagnose and remedy an issue with the speaker driver - during which I was without sound. Nevertheless, my overall impressions have been very favorable and wholeheartedly recommend this laptop. ... show more

Disappointed

First of all, when you buy such an expensive laptop, you feel that it should be perfect... right? Well, far from it. I was so disappointed to see that my headset can't be used when I do zoom or listen to other things (even though it pairs it but you can't select it). Fantastic purchase BUT the *Dell XPS 13 9310* is the latest and greatest version with the 11th gen intel processor and integrated Xe graphics. It has better performance than this 10th gen intel model so make sure you know which ome you're getting before purchasing!

Easy to setup and use

This laptop is light and easy to use. Setup was a snap and there was very little bloatware that I had to remove from the system. The keyboard backlighting is a little dim for my eyes but the screen is clear and easy to read.

Bought as a travel laptop and backup incase regular laptop needs to go in shop. Glad I got always love Dell I had a xps 15 and had a great experience with it, the same is holding true with the 13,for a little laptop you get big time performance
